Your initial evaluation includes a duplex ultrasound scan to document venous insufficiency (abnormal blood flow) and rule out deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Treatment options may include radiofrequency ablation (RFA), Varithena® foam injection therapy, and sclerotherapy, depending on your individual condition and treatment needs.
