Are you or someone you know thinking about the PT profession and want to learn more about it? We are now accepting volunteer applications at all four JACO Rehab locations! (Honolulu, Waikele, Mililani, Kapolei). Volunteers will help our admin and PT staff with daily tasks and have the chance to observe physical therapist treatments for a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of a PT. Sometimes, you don’t need more motivation. You need a better starting point.

When you’ve been dealing with pain or an injury for a while, it’s easy to start blaming yourself:

“I should be doing more.”
“I just need to be more consistent.”
“Why can’t I get motivated?”

But recovery takes energy! When something feels painful, overwhelming, or like too big of a hurdle, getting started can be the hardest part.

That’s where physical therapy can help.

We’re here to meet you where you are, break recovery into manageable steps, and help you build momentum toward the things you want to get back to.

You don’t have to feel motivated every day. Sometimes you just need the right plan, the right support, and one small step forward.

End of an era… but definitely not goodbye!

After many years of leading, supporting, problem-solving, encouraging, and keeping the Mililani crew moving forward, she’s officially passing the Clinic Director torch.

But don’t worry, you’re still going to see plenty of Marissa around Jaco Rehab! 🙌 She’ll continue to be an important part of our leadership team and our Jaco community, just in a different role.

We are so grateful for the many years of leadership, heart, and hard work she has poured into Mililani and into Jaco Rehab as a whole. Cheers to the end of one chapter and the start of another! 💙
