Recognizing the signs of stroke and acting quickly can save lives—and even children can play an important role. ⚡💙

Fast & Brave, a new children’s book presented by the Hawaiʻi Stroke Coalition, helps teach keiki the signs of stroke using the F.A.S.T. acronym in a fun, age-appropriate, and empowering way. The project was envisioned by Dr. Kazuma Nakagawa, MD, FAAN, FAFA, Chief of the Neuroscience Institute, in partnership with local authors and illustrators committed to improving stroke awareness across Hawaiʻi.

Mahalo to everyone involved in bringing this important resource to families and communities statewide.
