My heart is full. 💙

Last night, we gathered in the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church for Sound for Hope - an evening of sound, stillness, connection, and compassion.

Together, we raised over $230 benefiting NAMI New Hampshire and $50 benefiting the Contemplative Action Network!

What began as an invitation to slow down and care for ourselves became an opportunity to make a difference for others, too.

To everyone who attended, shared the event, contributed, or helped bring this gathering to life; thank you.

A special thank-you to Grace Episcopal Church, NAMI New Hampshire, and the Contemplative Action Network for being part of this meaningful evening.

💙 And this is something I would love to do more of.

I believe sound has a beautiful way of bringing people together, and when we pair that connection with a meaningful cause, the impact can extend far beyond the experience itself.

I would love to collaborate with more nonprofits, charitable organizations, and community groups looking for creative, heartfelt ways to raise funds and bring people together.

Whether you’re supporting mental health, education, families, accessibility, or another cause close to your heart, I’d love to explore how we can create a sound experience that gives back to your community.

💙 Sound Beyond Words is almost here!

Tomorrow morning, we’ll gather inside the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester for a sound experience created with the nonspeaking community and their families in mind.

Sound Beyond Words is an invitation to experience sound without the expectation to be quiet, still, or participate in any particular way.

Move if you need to move.
Vocalize if you need to vocalize.
Stim. Sit. Lie down. Use headphones or hearing protection. Bring your AAC, letterboard, or other sensory and communication supports. Step outside and return.

There is no “right” way to experience the morning.

Come with family, caregivers, or communication partners. Come exactly as you are and know that you are welcome here.

And while we gather for connection, your presence will also help create a ripple beyond the sanctuary.

💙 Proceeds from Sound Beyond Words will benefit I-ASC — the International Association for Spelling as Communication. I-ASC works to advance communication access for nonspeaking people globally through training, education, advocacy, and research, with a focus on access, agency, and autonomy.

💙 A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Contemplative Action Network, helping extend the impact of this gathering into our community.

If something in you has been asking for a little more quiet, a little more softness, or simply a place to set down what you’ve been carrying, consider this your invitation.

Tonight, we’ll gather inside the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester for Sound for Hope - a community sound bath created around connection, compassion, and hope.

You don’t need to know how to meditate.
You don’t need to arrive feeling peaceful.
You don’t need to do anything other than come as you are.

Find a comfortable place on your mat or settle into one of the pews (yes, you can lie on them). Let the sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments surround you while you give yourself an hour to slow down and simply receive.

And in taking this time for yourself, you’ll also be part of something that reaches beyond the room.

This Saturday, we’ll gather inside the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church for an inclusive hour of sound, vibration, connection, and space to experience it all in your own way.

Sound Beyond Words was intentionally designed with nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking individuals in mind; but everyone is welcome. Children, parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, caregivers, and community members can all join us.

And parents, you don’t need to worry about whether your child can sit still or stay quiet.
💙 Wiggles are welcome.
💙 Movement and stimming are welcome.
💙 Vocalizing is welcome.
💙 Headphones and sensory supports are welcome.
💙 AAC and letterboards are welcome.
💙 Stepping out and coming back is welcome.

Sound, rhythm, and vibration can give the nervous system something steady to notice. Some people may find the experience calming or grounding. Others may connect through movement, curiosity, or simply sharing the space together. Every nervous system is different, and there is no “right” way to experience this.

Your ticket also makes an impact beyond the hour we share. This Friday, we’ll gather inside the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester for an evening of sound, connection, compassion, and hope. And there’s still time to be part of it.

Sound for Hope is more than a sound bath. It’s an opportunity to take an hour for your own well-being while also helping support mental health within our community.

As crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments fill the sanctuary, you’re invited to simply get comfortable and receive. On Friday, October 9, Pure Melodic Vibrations invites you into the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester for Sound for Hope; a community sound bath created around mental health, connection, compassion, and hope.

For one hour, step away from the noise. Get comfortable. Breathe. Listen. Allow yourself to simply be as the sanctuary fills with the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other sound instruments.

Come because you could use the pause.
Come in honor of someone you love.
Come to support greater mental health awareness and resources in our community.

Next Friday, we’ll gather inside the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester for an evening devoted to something that affects every one of us in some way: mental health.

Maybe life has felt especially loud lately. Maybe someone you love is struggling. Maybe you’ve walked your own difficult road. Or maybe you simply believe that caring for our mental health - and making support available to others - matters.

Sound for Hope is a chance to do both.

For one hour, give yourself permission to put everything else down. Settle onto your mat or into a pew and receive the sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments.

Come to rest.
Come to reconnect.
Come for someone you love.
Come for yourself.

And while you’re caring for your own well-being, your presence is helping others, too.

Sound Beyond Words was intentionally designed with nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking individuals in mind, but everyone is welcome; including children, families, friends, caregivers, and community members.

There is no expectation to sit perfectly still or remain quiet:
Move if your body needs movement.
Vocalize. Stim. Change positions.
Wear headphones or hearing protection.
Bring AAC, letterboards, comfort items, or sensory supports.
Step outside and return when you’re ready.

That’s the heart behind Sound for Hope.

On Friday, October 9, we’re gathering inside the beautiful sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester for a community sound bath centered around something we all need more of: space to slow down, connection with one another, and hope.

Mental health touches every one of us. Maybe through our own experiences. Maybe through someone we love. Maybe both.

This evening is an opportunity to do something meaningful for your own mental and emotional well-being while helping strengthen the organizations working to support others in our communities.

Settle onto a mat or into a pew as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments fill the sanctuary. There’s nothing to accomplish. Nothing to get right. Just an invitation to pause, listen, and receive.

And simply by being there, you're giving back.
