Giveaway alert! Stop by the Trailhead Wellness NC booth at the TreeTops Trail Race this Saturday for a chance to win a complimentary 75 minute Wellness Session. 🍂
Here’s how to enter: fill out an entry card at our booth and drop it in the entry box. One winner will be drawn after the race. Whether you’re running, cheering on a friend or just enjoying a fall day at DuPont State Forest, you’re welcome to enter. No purchase necessary, and one entry per person. Running or cheering at the TreeTops 8.5 Mile Trail Race at DuPont State Forest this Saturday? Come find us at the post-race. 🍂
Trailhead Wellness NC will have a booth, and you can stop by to meet Emily and enter to win a complimentary 75 minute Wellness Session. Racers, families and anyone out enjoying the forest are all welcome.
The TreeTops race starts at 9:00 AM and benefits Friends of DuPont Forest, a group that cares for the trails and protects the forest. Afterward, the free DuPont Forest Festival runs from 10 AM to 3 PM with vendors, hiking, biking, yoga and waterfall hunting. It’s a great way to spend a fall Saturday in Western North Carolina.
Parking is limited, so carpool with friends and family if you can.

Fall fashion, live music and a good night out are coming to Arden, NC. 🍂

The Women’s Council of REALTORS® Carolina Mountains is hosting its Annual Fall Fashion Show & Expo, “Unmasking Authenticity,” on Friday, October 23.

Expect fashions from Dillard’s, The Sanctuary Boutique and Pennybug Vintage, music by DJ Damion, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and door prizes. Selected fashions will be available to purchase, and Victoria Dunkle is the special guest host.

Whether you’re from Asheville, Hendersonville, Fletcher or anywhere in Western North Carolina, it’s a fun way to spend a Friday evening with your community.

Leaf season, outdoor gear, and Pisgah. That’s a pretty great Saturday, now rescheduled. 🍂

Weather pushed the 2nd Annual Edge of the Forest Fest at SylvanSport to a new date, and we’d still love to see you there. Both Trailhead Outfitters NC and Trailhead Wellness NC will be set up alongside some of Western North Carolina’s best outdoor brands, retailers, and local nonprofits for a fall celebration of gear, food, and bargains.

New Date: Saturday, November 7, 10 AM – 3 PM

Pisgah Drift plays live from 11 AM to 2 PM. Food trucks from Peepaw’s BBQ and Curry on Cart by Indian Aroma Bistro will be on site. Stick around for all-day archery with the NC Bowhunters Association, fly fishing games with Pisgah Trout Unlimited, and a how-to on making camp coffee at 11 AM with Nero Experiences.

Onsite bathrooms, a water refill station, and good cell coverage, we’ve got you covered for the day.

We welcome suggestions from all ages at Trailhead, and Owen proved it. 🏔️

Owen is 10, and he got so excited about Trailhead Outfitters that he sat down and wrote us an entire inventory suggestion list. Not a few ideas scribbled on a napkin, a genuinely detailed list. We had to share it.

Shoutout to Owen for putting this much thought into what we should carry. That’s the kind of input we actually want.
