🍓🌿 Eating With the Seasons: One of the Simplest Ways to Support Your Body Naturally 🌿🍓
One thing I encourage in my wellness approach is eating more seasonally.
Why? Because seasonal foods are often fresher, richer in nutrients, more flavorful, and naturally aligned with what the body tends to need during that time of year.
Spring and early summer foods are especially supportive for:
✨ Digestion + gut health
✨ Natural detoxification pathways
✨ Hydration + mineral balance
✨ Energy and cellular health
✨ Reducing inflammation
Nature has a way of providing foods that match the season we’re in. As the weather warms up, many seasonal foods are lighter, water-rich, fiber-rich, and packed with antioxidants to help support the body naturally.
🔹Foods in season right now include:
🍓 Strawberries
🍒 Cherries
🥒 Cucumbers
🥬 Leafy greens
🫛 Snap peas
🥕 Carrots
🌱Asparagus
🌿 Fresh herbs
🍋 Citrus
🥑 Avocados
🧄 Garlic
🥔 New potatoes
🍅 Tomatoes (starting soon)
🌽 Early sweet corn in some regions
This is also something I incorporate into the meal plans I create for clients. I love building realistic, nourishing meal plans around seasonal foods because they’re often:
✔️ More nutrient-dense
✔️ Easier to digest
✔️ Better tasting
✔️ More affordable and accessible
✔️ Naturally supportive for the body during that season
Instead of forcing rigid “diet foods” year-round, I focus on helping women learn how to eat in a way that feels supportive, sustainable, and aligned with real life and the body’s needs. 🤍
Sometimes wellness doesn’t need more extremes — it needs more simplicity, nourishment, and connection back to the basics.
