Thank you everyone for the prayers, Kacens MRI & CT scans came back great & he is officially marked 3 years CANCER FREE!!!🙏🥹👏❤️ my mind is at ease and I am so thankful for the village of people who love & care for our son. Thank you God!🫶🏼

UPDATE; he’s up & we’re meeting with the doctor now to go over results then head home! We’re back at Children’s Hospital...

UPDATE; he’s up & we’re meeting with the doctor now to go over results then head home!

We’re back at Children’s Hospital! 💙 Kacen is due for his yearly checkup scans, and this is the first time we’ve been able to go a full year between them. I’ve been pretty anxious waiting for today, especially after the little scare a few weeks ago when his allergies caused his eye to swell.😅
As most of you know, Kacen was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at just 9 months old. Today’s scans mark THREE YEARS in remission! 🙏 If you can, please pray for him as they put him to sleep & complete his scans over the next couple of hours. Please pray that no cancer has returned and for peace while we wait. I’ll keep y’all updated when we’re done & heading home.

Also, I have not posted about this yet but if you could, please say a prayer for a very close family member who isn’t ready to be named yet. They recently had a 4 cm mass removed from their colon. We’re praying for complete healing and that chemotherapy won’t be needed. It feels like cancer has been surrounding our family lately. Please pray that it stays far away and never returns for either of them. Thank you all so much for your love, support, and prayers. They truly mean more than you know. ❤️🙏

All of Kacen’s scans came back perfect, no signs of cancer at all 🙏🙏 We now get to go in for check-ups annually instead of every 6 months, which is such a huge milestone!
Thank you to everyone who continues to cover Kacen in prayer — he’s got God watching over him every step of the way ❤️

UPDATE:
We’re home!!🤪🤪 He woke up not so happy but is now starting to feel good. we should have the results within a few days & talk with his doctor next week but so far I didn’t see anything concerning!💗 thank yall for the continuous prayers & I’ll update yall in a few days for results!

We took Kacen back for his scans around 11:45. He’s got a full schedule today — starting with MRI, then CT, and finishing with his MIBG scans. It’s expected to take a few hours, so we’re asking for all the prayers for clear, cancer-free results (just like we know they will be), and for Kacen as he’s moved from room to room under anesthesia. He’s definitely going to be one hangry little guy when he wakes up 😅

Hi everyone — we’re back for Kacen’s 6-month checkup, & today has been really tough. Each visit gets harder now that Kacen’s more aware of what’s going on. This morning was heartbreaking — two blown veins & over an hour of him fighting through it with five nurses and me just to get his IV in.

He received his nuclear medicine injection today to prepare for tomorrow’s full day of scans — CT, MRI, and MIBG. This month marks two years of Kacen being cancer free, & we’re praying with everything we have that tomorrow’s scans reflect that. Please keep Kacen in your prayers — especially for clear, cancer-free results. He’s having a hard time being back, & it’s never easy watching him go through this.

We’d also be so grateful for prayers for a smooth morning and safe travels home. Thank you all for your continued love and support — it means more than you know. 💛

Thank you everyone who has been praying & checking in on us, Kacens scans came back remaining CANCER FREE❤️🥳🙏🏼 The further along we go, the less likely Neuroblastoma is to come back. We now will go back in another 6 months & then hopefully it’ll be annually. We’re so grateful for all the love & support!🥹🫶🏼

We just took him back to put to him to sleep & start the scans. This is gonna be a long day for him, please continue to keep him in your prayers & us as well. I get extremely anxious when it’s time for scans, but Gods got him!! 🙏🏼❤️

Anddd just like 6 months have flown by & we’re back at Arkansas Children's for Kacens check up scans🫠 He wasn’t thrilled to be back today to get his nuclear med injection & get his labs checked. Please say a prayer for his scans tomorrow morning that everything comes back clear & has no signs of cancer still! These scans will mark a year & 6 months of Kacen being declared cancer free from Neuroblastoma🥹❤️🙏🏼
