🎉 Today, we're celebrating two very special milestones! 🎉

First, as you can tell by our shirts, we're proudly celebrating the beginning of Mercy's 200th year! 💙💛 Nearly 199 years ago, Catherine McAuley opened the House of Mercy, beginning a legacy of compassion, service, and hope that continues to impact lives around the world today. 🙏✨

Second, we're celebrating one of our very own, Sandra! 🎓👏 Sandra is about to graduate and become a Forensic Interviewer! When she joined , she quickly fell in love with our mission and discovered her calling. From that moment on, she worked tirelessly toward her goal, and now she's turning that dream into reality. 🌟

Anyone who has ever had a great admin knows they are the glue that holds everything together, and Sandra is no exception. ❤️ Her dedication, hard work, and passion for helping children have made a lasting impact on our team.

How fitting that we're celebrating both of these milestones together. 💙 We like to think that Catherine McAuley is looking down and smiling. After all, this was her mission: caring for and uplifting women and children. ✨👩‍👧‍👦 Through Mercy's legacy and through people like Sandra, that mission continues every day.

Congratulations, Sandra! 🎉 We couldn't be more proud of you. You're doing what you set out to do, and we're here for it. Thank you for helping to . 💙

"She believed she could, so she did." ✨💕

Yesterday, we celebrated Forensic Interviewer, Amy Henson. Why do you ask? In her short time at CAMCAC, she has completed 1,000 forensic interviews. That’s right…ONE THOUSAND. 1,000 times Amy sat in a room to help make a child feel safe enough to disclose trauma. 1,000 times she looked in child’s eyes and helped navigate something awful that happened that shouldn’t have. 1,000 times she helped to .

Sip, Savor, & Support at the Hill is just around the corner, and we're thrilled to announce two special guests who will help make the evening unforgettable! 🎉

Joining us as emcee is Chris Treat Mayor of Bryant and leading our live auction is the one and only Bo Dottley. Their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to supporting Arkansas children will make this a night to remember.

We can't wait to gather with friends, supporters, and community leaders for an evening of great food, fellowship, and fundraising, all benefiting the children and families served by Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center.

Mark your calendars for November 5 and get ready to sip, savor, and support a great cause to help ! 💙

Ready for flu season? 🍂 Now’s a good time to get your vaccines on the calendar. Flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines each have different timing recommendations. Here’s when to get each one:

Flu: September or October is the best time to get vaccinated for the fall flu season, but it’s still a good idea to get your vaccine later in the season. The vaccine takes about two weeks to become fully effective.

COVID-19: The COVID-19 vaccine was recently updated, and with the respiratory season upon us, receiving this vaccine now will provide the best protection (assuming you received the older vaccine more than three months ago). Additional doses may be recommended based on age, vaccination history and immune status. When additional updates to the vaccine happen, immunization is recommended ASAP, but no sooner than three months after your last COVID-19 vaccine.

RSV: Eligible adults should get the RSV vaccine between August and October, or any time of year. You do not need to get an RSV vaccine every year.

Not sure which vaccines you need or when to get them? Talk with your healthcare provider.

📸✨ Here are more photos from an unforgettable Night at the Arlington! Thank you to photographer Kate Roger.

What an incredible evening of generosity, celebration, and support for the children and families we serve. We are still feeling the impact of the love shown by our sponsors, donors, volunteers, guests, and community partners who came together to make the night such a success.

Now that we've had a chance to catch our breath and recover, we're already looking ahead to next year! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to those who continue to stand with us in our mission of bringing hope and healing to children affected by abuse.

Rural health challenges require local solutions and strong partnerships! We're proud to join Heartland Whole Health Institute and partners across Arkansas in the Rural Health Transformation Program, working to create healthier communities and improve access to care where it's needed most.

Big news for rural health in Arkansas.

Heartland Whole Health Institute is proud to convene six Arkansas health care organizations through Heartland Whole Health Connect, a new rural health initiative supported through $8.4 million from Arkansas' Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).

Together with Mercy, Community Clinic, Boston Mountain Rural Health Center, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, St. Bernards Healthcare, and Arkansas CPESN, we’ll work to expand access to primary and preventive care, strengthen chronic disease management, increase telehealth and remote care, and advance whole-person care closer to home.

We’re excited for what this investment makes possible for Arkansas and what we can learn together to help shape the future of rural health across the country.
