Mixing fruits, vegetables, yogurt, milk, or protein-rich ingredients into smoothies can be a simple way to add more nutrients and fiber to your day. Frozen fruit also makes smoothies easy to enjoy year-round. 🌱

Today was the last “Special Snack” of the school year for the Maliseet Headstart kiddos as they graduate in couple of weeks!
Since it was the last special snack of the year we had a special treat, fiddlehead cupcakes and raspberry sorbet and chocolate chips.
We went over My Plate with a felt board game. We went over which section of the plate belongs to which food group and we pulled out felt food and the kids got to choose where each food belonged on My Plate, they all did a wonderful job.
We also read “F is for Fiddlehead” by Marilyn Lohnes and explored New Brunswick.
Thank you for the great year of learning kids!

Special thanks to Caden Shaw for the fiddleheads that were used for the muffins ❣️
