In preparation for our warm day tomorrow, we want to remind everyone of a few things!

With temperatures expected to reach 90°F today and tomorrow, we encourage everyone in our community to take extra precautions—especially our older adults, young children, and anyone with chronic medical conditions.

Here are a few simple ways to stay safe:
💧 Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🏠 Stay in air-conditioned buildings as much as possible.
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
☀️ Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.

❤️ Please check on your elderly family members, friends, and neighbors. A quick phone call or visit can make a big difference, especially for those who live alone or may not have air conditioning.
