These are the stories that are heart warming in the end but terrifying to live through!
Poor Winston got out of the gate or taken out of the gate of his home in Pasadena.
His family was terrified they wouldn’t be able to find him. He was missing for a week before they finally got the call that he had been found.
Luckily, a Good Samaritan brought him in after he was found this morning. He was a little on the skinny side and a few small matts in the fur but was otherwise healthy.
She knew to bring him to the clinic and get him microchipped scanned.
His parents reported to the microchip on Tuesday that he was missing and got him back today!
We don’t really know how he made it from Pasadena to Spring Branch but his parents are so grateful to the Good Samaritan who brought him in and so thankful they had him microchipped and knew his information to report him to the company.
We’re so happy we got to be apart of Winston’s journey back home!

☀️ Houston Heat Alert! ☀️
The Texas heat can become dangerous in minutes—for both people and pets. 🌡️

💧 Stay hydrated.
🏠 Limit outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a minute.
🐾 Watch for signs of heat stroke in pets, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

If you suspect heat stroke, move to a cool area, begin cooling with room-temperature water, and seek medical or emergency veterinary care immediately.

Please keep in mind that heat strokes are quick acting and need EMERGENCY care. We are general practitioners with limited resources compared to emergency rooms. Please save time and go straight to a Vet ER Hospital for proper care.

Deceased Found dog in Spring Branch area. No specific area mentioned. Most likely hit by car. Deceased a few minutes after being brought in by a Good Samaritan. Tan. No specific markings. No microchip. Male and not neutered. Pictures in comments due to sensitive images.

Update! Buck has been adopted to his forever home!

Update on the found pitty a few months back! He’s being fostered by one of our team members! He’s been doing amazing. Living with teenagers, cats and another dog. He’s being fostered through Houston Humane Society. He’s such a sweet boy and if anyone is interested in adopting him, let us know!
