Many women don’t realize the breadth of support a registered dietitian can provide.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually like to work with one, this one’s for you. 💚

Over the past several months, I've been thoughtfully creating something a little different for this autumn.

Rather than filling a day with presentations or information, I've been asking a different question:

How can the experience itself support well-being?

That question has quietly shaped every decision—from the setting to the pace of the day, the shared meals, the conversations, and the moments of reflection.

I'm excited to share that this special autumn wellness retreat will take place on November 7 in the Texas Hill Country.

I'm not quite ready to share all the details just yet, but if spending a day reconnecting with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting sounds appealing, I'd love to keep you updated.

🍂 Comment below or send me a DM with "INTEREST" and I'll add you to the early interest list.

Have you ever come away from a class, workshop, book, or podcast feeling inspired…

…only to find yourself slipping back into your usual routines a few days later?

Most of us have.

It usually isn’t because we aren’t motivated.

And it certainly doesn’t mean the information wasn’t valuable.

We all have access to more health information than ever before.

The challenge often isn’t simply learning something new.

It’s understanding the right information in the context of your own life, then having opportunities to experience it and put it into practice.

That idea has quietly become one of the guiding principles behind a special autumn wellness experience I’m thoughtfully creating.

If this perspective feels meaningful to you, I hope you’ll continue following along.

Healthy eating can feel more complicated than ever.

One expert says to eat more protein.

Another recommends fasting.

Someone else focuses on supplements or meal timing.

It's no wonder so many women feel like they're trying to keep up with a constantly changing list of nutrition "rules."

One principle I continue coming back to through both my work and ongoing professional education is this:

Strong nutrition foundations come first.

Before worrying about optimizing every detail, it's worth asking whether the foundations are truly in place.

Not necessarily more protein.

Not necessarily less carbohydrate.

But enough of what your body needs to support this season of life.

That's often where meaningful progress begins.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed by all the nutrition advice out there, I'd love to help you bring more clarity and confidence to your nutrition.

Something unexpected has happened while I’ve been creating an autumn wellness experience for this fall.

I thought I’d spend most of my time planning what women would learn.

Instead, I’ve been thinking about how I hope they’ll feel.

A warm welcome.

Meaningful conversations around a shared meal.

Moments to pause.

Space to reflect.

The opportunity to notice what everyday life sometimes asks us to move past too quickly.

The more time I’ve spent planning, the more I’ve been reminded that wellness isn’t only about knowing more.

Sometimes it’s about creating the conditions that allow us to slow down long enough to reconnect with ourselves.

That thought has been quietly shaping everything I’m creating this fall. 🍂

Can I offer you a little experiment this week?

Take a moment to notice something you’ve been too busy to notice.

Sometimes creating just a little space helps us notice patterns we might otherwise overlook.

I’d love to hear what comes to mind. 💚

One of the things I love most about being a dietitian is that there’s always something new to learn.

Women’s health research continues to evolve, and so does our understanding of how nutrition and lifestyle can support women through perimenopause and beyond.

I’m excited to share that I recently completed the EmpoweRD Perimenopause Nutrition Counseling Certificate Program, building on the EmpoweRD Menopause training I completed in 2024.

Continuing education is one of the ways I continue investing in the women I have the privilege of serving. It reflects my commitment to providing nutrition guidance that’s grounded in current evidence while remaining practical for real life.

Every opportunity to continue learning helps me better support women in determining what matters most first, making confident decisions, and putting realistic support strategies into practice.

I’m looking forward to bringing what I’ve learned into future workshops, presentations, and one-on-one work with clients. 🌿

Many women in their 40s+ are hearing messages like:

• Eat more protein.
• Try intermittent fasting.
• Don’t fast.
• Go on a GLP-1 medication.
• Have these labs checked.
• It’s your hormones.
• It’s stress.
• It’s just getting older.

The challenge is determining which questions deserve your attention first and which next steps make the most sense for your unique situation.

That’s one of the reasons I believe personalized nutrition guidance and support can be so valuable.

I help women interpret what they’re hearing, consider the bigger picture, and make confident decisions about where to focus next.

Have you ever felt like everyone has a different opinion about what you should be doing? 🌿

Have you spent months? Years? trying to improve your health on your own?

You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, tried every diet, purchased supplements, and done your best to make informed decisions.

At some point, the challenge isn’t finding more information.
It’s determining what deserves your attention first, where to focus your time and energy, and which changes are most likely to make a meaningful difference.

Your DIY approach has run its course.

You do not have to figure things out alone.

What’s one women’s health or nutrition question you’ve spent far too much time trying to figure out on your own? 🌿
