⛳️ STOP Hitting It Like This

Pain on the inside of your elbow isn’t always from playing too much golf.

More often, it’s caused by how you’re striking the ground.

When the club hits the turf before the ball, especially with a tight grip, the impact force travels up the shaft and into the tendons on the inside of your elbow.

Over time, that repeated stress can lead to golfer’s elbow.

The solution isn’t just treating the pain. It’s improving the movement that causes it.

✅ Grip the club in a manner that matches your release pattern, with less tension
✅ Focus on ball-first contact, then turf
✅ Rotate through the shot instead of flipping your hands at impact

Better contact means less stress on your body, more consistent ball striking, and a healthier swing.

Move Better. Play Longer. Pain Free.

Back pain after golf is not always a technique problem.

Often, it comes from how your body sequences the swing.

When your upper body starts the downswing before your lower body, your low back is forced to absorb more stress and rotational force than it was designed to handle.

Instead, think ground up:

✅ Create pressure into the ground
✅ Let your hips and pelvis lead the downswing
✅ Allow your torso to follow
✅ Let your arms and club finish the sequence

A powerful golf swing works like a whip, not a twist.

Start with good posture, hinge from your hips, and let your big muscles generate the motion. Your back should support the swing, not power it.

Move better. Play longer, pain-free.

Most golf injuries aren’t just bad luck.

They’re often the result of repeated movement patterns: poor posture, limited mobility, over-rotation, or swing mechanics that gradually place excessive stress on your spine, shoulders, hips, and knees.

If you’re feeling pain during or after a round, your body isn’t failing you, it’s giving you valuable feedback.

The good news? Small adjustments in how you set up, move, and rotate can reduce unnecessary strain, improve efficiency, and help you stay on the course longer.

Your back shouldn’t have to pay the price for every round. 🏌️♂️

Many golfers unknowingly place excessive stress on their spine by over-rotating during the swing.

A few simple adjustments can make a big difference:
✅ Stand tall with good posture
✅ Hinge from your hips, not your lower back
✅ Let your hips initiate the movement

You don’t always need a new swing. Sometimes, you just need a body that moves more efficiently.

Move better. Play longer. Pain free.

⛳️ Pain during golf is easy to ignore, especially when you’re focused on finishing the round.

But pain is often your body’s way of telling you that something needs attention.

Whether it’s your back, shoulder, elbow, hip, or knee, discomfort that appears during your swing, after 18 holes, or even the next morning shouldn’t be dismissed as “just part of golf.”

The goal isn’t to stop playing.

The goal is to better understand how your body moves, improve the way it handles the demands of the swing, and protect your game for the long run.

When you move better, you give yourself the opportunity to play longer, perform better, and enjoy the game with less pain.

⛳️ Your golf swing can reveal more than just technique.

It can tell a story about how your body rotates, absorbs force, generates power, and responds to the repetitive stresses of the game.

When pain begins to show up in your back, hips, shoulders, knees, or elbows, it may be your body’s way of signaling that something isn’t moving efficiently. The issue isn’t always the area that hurts. It may stem from limitations in mobility, deficits in stability or strength, or compensations that develop throughout the swing.

Understanding how your body moves is one of the first steps toward preventing golf injuries, improving performance, and staying in the game longer.

The better you move, the better you can play.

⛳️ Play Better Golf, Pain-Free.

Pain doesn’t always start when you feel it.

For many golfers, stress on the back, shoulders, hips, and knees builds gradually through inefficient movement patterns, swing mechanics, and repetitive strain. Over time, those small issues can lead to discomfort, reduced performance, and time away from the game you love.

The good news? Many golf-related injuries can be prevented.

When your body moves efficiently and your swing works with your body—not against it—you can:

✔️ Improve consistency and control
✔️ Generate more power with less effort
✔️ Reduce stress on your joints
✔️ Recover more effectively between rounds
✔️ Play longer and with greater confidence

A better golf game starts with a body that moves well.

⛳️ Golf Injury Prevention Starts Before Pain Shows Up

Most golfers wait until something hurts before they think about injury prevention.

But pain often begins long before symptoms appear.

Your golf swing is not just about power, distance, or technique. It’s about how your body moves, absorbs force, and responds to the repetitive stresses of every swing.

Back pain, shoulder discomfort, hip tightness, and knee pain are often the result of movement limitations and inefficient mechanics that develop over time.

The good news? Understanding how your body moves can help you identify potential problems early, reduce unnecessary strain, and improve both performance and longevity on the course.

⛳️ Motivational Monday: Protect the Body That Powers Your Game

Your golf swing is only as strong as the body behind it.

Many golfers spend countless hours working on swing mechanics while overlooking the mobility, stability, and movement patterns that support an efficient, pain-free swing. Over time, those limitations can place unnecessary stress on the back, shoulders, hips, and knees—affecting both performance and longevity on the course.

The goal isn’t just to play better this weekend.

It’s to keep playing the game you love for years to come.

When your body moves efficiently, you create the foundation for:

✔️ More consistent ball striking
✔️ Better balance and control
✔️ Increased mobility and power
✔️ Reduced stress on your joints
✔️ Fewer injuries and longer playing careers

🎓 In my Masterclass, “Why Your Concepts of the Golf Swing Might Be Putting You at Risk for Injury,” you’ll learn how common movement limitations and swing habits may be contributing to pain, inconsistency, and injury risk—and what you can do to move more efficiently and play with greater confidence.

⛳️ A Better Swing Sequence Doesn’t Just Improve Performance—It Protects Your Body

Many golfers chase more distance, but the best players understand that how you move matters just as much as how hard you swing.

An efficient swing sequence helps your body generate power naturally while reducing unnecessary stress on your back, shoulders, hips, and knees.

When the sequence breaks down, your body often compensates. Over time, those compensations can lead to pain, injury, and inconsistent performance.

When you move efficiently, you’ll gain:
✔️ More consistent ball striking
✔️ Better balance and control
✔️ Increased power with less effort
✔️ Reduced stress on your joints
✔️ Greater longevity in the game

🎓 In my Masterclass, “Why Your Concepts of the Golf Swing Might Be Putting You at Risk for Injury,” you’ll learn how movement patterns and swing mechanics influence both performance and injury risk—and what you can do to improve them.

📘 Start with my E-Book, “Common Golf Injuries: What Every Golfer Needs to Know,” for practical strategies to help you move better, recover faster, and play longer.

Your body is the engine of your golf swing. Protect it, train it, and it will reward you with better golf for years to come. Move better. Play longer, pain free.
