🎃 LITTLE RAVERS UPDATE 🎃

After reviewing the activities, face painting, caricature artist, shirt stations, glow accessory stations, games, inflatables, and the overall experience we want to create, we’ve officially set the capacity for Little Ravers.

🎟️ Capacity: 75 Children

Little Ravers was never designed to be a large festival.

It was designed to be an interactive Halloween experience where children can explore, choose, create, play, and enjoy every station without spending the afternoon standing in long lines.

Each child will enjoy:

👕 Two Little Ravers shirts

✨ Glow accessories & Halloween gear

🎨 Face painting

🖼️ Caricature artist experiences

🎯 Giant games & activities

🍬 Halloween treat station

📸 Halloween photo opportunities

🏰 Bounce houses & inflatable fun

👜 Interactive shopping-style experience stations

We will be limiting attendance to 75 children to preserve the experience and ensure every child has the opportunity to fully enjoy everything included with their ticket.

Once all 75 spots have been claimed, registration will close.

This is not BOOFEST.

Little Ravers is a separate all-inclusive Halloween experience designed specifically for kids before Halloween weekend.

One of our guests has already chosen to add a custom double-sided tote to her experience! While everyone is enjoying mimosas, journaling, and connecting with other women, we’ll be creating her tote as a special take-home keepsake from the event. 👜💕

☕️✨ One of the most interesting things happening right now is watching Starbucks reverse course.

Years ago, Starbucks started moving away from the “third place” concept. They removed a lot of the comfortable seating, leaned heavily into mobile ordering, grab-and-go convenience, and spaces designed more for turnover than lingering.

From a business standpoint, it made sense for THEM.

Starbucks has the money, data, and scale to experiment with major operational changes. If something doesn’t work, they can pivot.

The problem is that a lot of independent coffee shops started following the same trend.

Suddenly cozy chairs disappeared.
The couches disappeared.
The comfortable corners disappeared.

Everything became:

🪑 hard chairs
🪑 minimalist seating
🪑 tiny tables
🪑 spaces designed more for aesthetics than comfort

Meanwhile, customers never stopped wanting the same thing they always wanted:

☕ comfort
📚 a place to work
💻 a place to study
🤍 a place to connect
🏡 a place that feels like a second home

Now Starbucks is slowly bringing back more comfortable seating and lounge-style spaces.

But many smaller coffee shops built their entire brand around the trend.

And that’s the danger of following big brands too closely.

Large corporations can afford to experiment.

Small businesses usually can’t.

The lesson isn’t “copy Starbucks.”

The lesson is understand WHY your customers choose you in the first place.

Because most people don’t visit local coffee shops hoping they’ll feel like a corporation.

They visit because they want the exact opposite. ☕️

PLEASE NOTE:

• Only ONE concessions vendor will be selected per event night.

• Tent-style setups are strongly preferred.

• Food trucks must utilize quiet/silent generators.

• Vendor Fee: $100 per night

• Concessions may begin around 7 PM. Movies typically begin around 8 PM and conclude around 9:30 PM
