Houston esthetician friends-I am looking for someone very specific.
I’m putting this here because I have a feeling the right person may come through someone who knows someone.
I’m looking for a seasoned esthetician to join us at Chrysalis Skin & Body.
And when I say seasoned, I really mean it.
I would love to find someone who has been doing this long enough that she can look at a client’s skin and actually read it-not just follow the steps she was taught in a protocol.
Someone mature, grounded, curious and confident.
Someone who understands that even after doing this for 10, 15 or 20+ years, there is always something else to learn.
Chrysalis has been around since 2000, and we have an incredibly loyal clientele. Many of our clients have been with us for decades. They’re accomplished, discerning women who appreciate experience, honesty and being told what they actually need rather than being sold whatever happens to be trending.
We do beautiful customized facials, but we’re also increasingly clinical and results-oriented-IPL, Clear + Brilliant, RF Microneedling, advanced infusion, regenerative treatments, hair/scalp work and more.
Most importantly, we collaborate.
I have an incredible relationship with my senior estheticians, and I want another peer at the table.
We talk about skin. We troubleshoot. We teach each other. We get excited about new technology. We debate products. We share clients. We ask each other’s opinions.
I want someone who finds that FUN.
Maybe she’s been working for herself and is tired of practicing alone.
Maybe she’s at a med spa and misses actually being an esthetician.
Maybe she stepped away for a while and would love to come back into the industry in the right environment.
Maybe she’s working somewhere perfectly fine but knows she’s capable of more.
I’m open to what her story looks like.
I care much more about experience, judgment, kindness, professionalism and cultural fit than having the perfect résumé.
Full-time or substantial part-time could work for the right person.
