We understand that choosing hospice can be one of the most difficult decisions a family will ever face. That’s why we’re committed to walking alongside our patients and their families with compassion, dignity, respect, and genuine care.

Hospice is not about giving up. It’s about making every moment matter. 💚

It’s about comfort when there’s pain.
Peace when there’s uncertainty.
Support when families feel overwhelmed.
And dignity throughout every step of the journey.

You don’t have to navigate this season alone.

💜 When Should You Ask About Hospice Care?

You don’t have to wait until the final days to begin the conversation. It may be time to ask about hospice when:

• Hospital or emergency room visits are becoming more frequent
• Pain or other symptoms are becoming harder to manage
• There is a noticeable decline in strength, appetite, or daily functioning
• Treatments are no longer helping as expected
• The patient wants to focus on comfort and quality of life
• Family caregivers need additional guidance and support

Asking about hospice does not mean you’ve made a final decision—it simply helps your family understand the options available. The earlier you ask, the more time the hospice team may have to provide comfort, education, and support.

Hospice care can often be provided wherever the patient calls home. Don’t wait for a crisis to start the conversation. We’re here to help you navigate through this transition 💜

Hospice reminds us that every moment matters, every story deserves to be honored, and no one should have to face the end of life alone.

I don’t just do Hospice. I am Hospice!

💚 Understanding Grief: The Denial Stage

When a loved one enters hospice care, caregivers may experience anticipatory grief—grieving the loss before it actually happens.

Denial may sound like:

“They’re going to get better.”
“They don’t really need hospice.”
“The doctors could still do more.”

This does not mean the caregiver is difficult, uncaring, or ignoring reality. Sometimes denial is the heart’s way of slowing down painful information until the mind is emotionally ready to process it.

Caregivers need patience, compassion, honest communication, and reassurance that choosing hospice does not mean giving up. It means choosing comfort, dignity, support, and quality of life.

At Redeeming Palliative & Hospice Care, we don’t only care for the patient—we walk alongside the entire family through every stage of the journey. 💚

There is no perfect order or timeline for grief. Everyone processes loss differently.

We’re here when you need us.

HOSPICE ISN’T ABOUT GIVING UP. 💚
IT’S ABOUT SHOWING UP.

Showing up with comfort when the days feel overwhelming.

Showing up with compassion when families don’t know what to do next.

Showing up with dignity, patience, education, and a listening ear.

Hospice is about helping families spend less time worrying about what comes next and more time loving the person who is right in front of them. ❤️

At Redeeming Palliative & Hospice Care, we believe every patient deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and cared for with dignity.

And every family deserves to know they don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Comfort. Compassion. Dignity. Support.
That’s the heart of hospice. 💚

💚 SOMETIMES THE CAREGIVER NEEDS CARE, TOO.

We talk a lot about caring for the person who is sick—but what about the daughter who hasn’t slept through the night?

The husband who is trying to stay strong?

The son who is working all day and providing care all night?

The family member who quietly says, “I’m tired, but I can’t stop.”

Caregiving is an act of love, but it can also be physically and emotionally exhausting.

That’s why hospice care isn’t only about the patient. We care for the family, too.

At Redeeming Palliative & Hospice Care, we want caregivers to know:

💚 You can ask questions.
💚 You can need help.
💚 You can take a moment to rest.
💚 You don’t have to carry everything alone.

Sometimes caring for the caregiver is one of the most important parts of caring for the patient.

Redeeming Palliative & Hospice Care
Because families need comfort, too. 💚

You don’t have to walk this road alone. 💚🙏🏾

Redeeming Palliative & Hospice Care
