Go Fund Me Update:
Hi Everyone. This is Michelle Aab posting this update, as I have moved back to Houston to be with Athena Elliott.
First, let me start with a huge thank you for everything. There are no words to convey the gratitude for the outpouring of support from y'all. I hope "Thank You" covers it for now, as it might be a while before Athena is emotionally prepared to reach out to everyone individually. She is a strong woman, surrounded by family and friends who will be here for her.
Tom was a wonderful man, who will be greatly missed. He was a husband, father and friend to many; the universe lost a dear soul and there will never be another like him.
He left behind very detailed instructions on how we should proceed after his passing. There will be a Celebration of His Life, March 3rd, here in Houston. For more details please feel free to email me @ [email protected]
Now... About this Go Fund Me...
Athena cannot thank Michelle Davignon enough for getting this account started so fast. Please understand the funds generated from this account go directly to Athena to help with the financial losses she will incur due to this tragedy. We are unsure exactly how much time she will need to take off from work... How anyone could put a timeline on the grieving process is beyond me, BUT I felt it necessary to explain that any and all donations will provide Athena with the time off she needs to process her loss. Donations will not be used for business purposes... All of her businesses are just that... businesses. Go Fund Me is not for her business expenses (except for the income she will lose from Spathena's temporary closure)... The Go Fund Me funds will be used to support her financially personally. I'm not going to go into detail as to what her personal expenses are, I'm certain y'all can understand why... But I wanted to put it out there that every single donation is not only appreciated, but will be used to help Athena directly.
In closing, thanks again for your emotional and financial support during this surreal time. I feel I should say so much more in support of Athena, as she has always said and done so much in support of her family, friends and Nail Family. Im pretty sure I don't need to write what we all feel in our hearts for such an amazing women in her time of need. She loves you all dearly, and has asked me to convey her heartfelt thanks and sends her love. xoxo
