Simple answer is… to assess and release tension in the round ligaments and muscles supporting your uterus.

During pregnancy, the muscles and ligaments supporting your uterus go through constant stretching and pressure as your baby grows.

That tension can contribute to:

- round ligament discomfort
- pelvic and low back pain
- tension around the uterus and pelvis
- imbalance that may affect baby positioning

This is why prenatal chiropractic care is more than just adjusting the spine.

I use gentle, specific techniques like the Webster Technique to assess and help release tension around the pelvis, abdomen, and surrounding ligaments so your body can adapt more comfortably throughout pregnancy.

When the pelvis and surrounding muscles are more balanced, it gives both your body and your baby more room to move comfortably.

It’s not painful at all… everything is gentle and always adapted to your stage of pregnancy.

Pregnancy care requires specialized knowledge and techniques, and not every chiropractor is trained to work with pregnant women.

When considering seeing a prenatal chiropractor, always make sure they are specifically trained and certified in prenatal care and the Webster Technique.

This is exactly how my typical day looks like in less than 15 secs!! 🫶🏻✨

One thing you probably won’t find in my house… is a newborn pillow!

I know many are marketed to help with comfort or flat head syndrome, but babies are actually safest sleeping on a firm, flat surface without pillows or loose bedding.

Now, you might see pillows used during chiropractic assessments or treatments, but that’s completely different. Those are specifically used for positioning during supervised care, not for sleep.

If you’re concerned about flat spots, I’d rather encourage:
✨ more tummy time while awake
✨ changing positions throughout the day
✨ checking for tension or side preference
✨ encouraging natural movement and development
✨ chiropractic cranial molding

Because babies don’t need more restriction… they need the opportunity to move, grow, and develop naturally 🤍

FAQ: You adjust babies?!

Umm… yes! And it’s one of my greatest honors, so let me show you what it actually looks like ✨

A newborn adjustment doesn’t involve twisting, cracking, or forceful movements. The pressure used is incredibly light and always adapted to your baby’s tiny body and developing nervous system.

Why do I encourage care this early?

Because birth, even the most beautiful and uncomplicated one, is still a big transition for your baby’s body.

From pregnancy positioning to labor and delivery, babies can hold tension in areas like the neck, head, and spine. Sometimes that tension can affect things like feeding, sleep, digestion, or overall comfort.

My goal is not to “fix” your baby, but to support their body as they adjust and grow through this new phase of life.

What can parents notice from regular adjustments?

Better sleep, less fussiness, less colic and reflux, and overall happier, more settled babies 🤍

If you’re ready to give your little one the best start, I’d love to welcome your family to Health Pro Chiropractic!

Newborn phase is magical… but can be stressful for both mom and baby.

Your baby is adjusting to a completely new environment, and sometimes what you see as fussiness or feeding challenges isn’t random.

It can simply be their way of adapting to all the changes their body has gone through.

This is where their body may need a little extra support as they settle into this new phase.

Chiropractic care focuses on gently supporting your baby’s body, especially areas that may be holding tension after birth.

Not to fix your baby, but to help them feel more comfortable as they grow and adapt 🤍

Everyone is talking about pregnancy, but less about postpartum.

But this is where your body is doing just as much work… if not more.

After birth, your body is adjusting, healing, and finding its way back after months of change. It’s common to feel discomfort, tension, or like something is a little off.

This is where I come in to support you through postpartum chiropractic, helping your body realign, recover, and function the way it’s meant to.

Then comes the question: “When can I start postpartum chiropractic?”

→ For uncomplicated vaginal births, many moms can begin care as soon as they feel ready to move around and leave the house.
→ For C-section births, it’s usually recommended to wait around 4–6 weeks or until cleared by your provider.

I’m sharing this not to scare you at all, but to let you know that you don’t have to go through this phase alone.

I’m here to support you through every stage of your journey, from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. If you’re looking for support and want to chat, my DMs are always open. 🤍
