At the Krist Irlen Clinic (Houston/Galveston) we always check what has improved, since wearing the Irlen glasses, and whether this has led to any success stories. Byron is 22 years old and came to see us on his Birthday! Now that he can read and work under bright lighting, he reported great improvements in his productivity and that his life options were now widened. In addition his depth perception issues, that impacted not only walking but handwriting, were now eased.

At the Krist Irlen Clinic (Houston/Galveston) we always check what has improved, since wearing the Irlen glasses, and whether this has led to any success stories. Olivia is 12 years old and the first thing she told us is ‘I can now read!’ Turns out, now that she isn’t seeing moving text and being blinded by the bright page, her concentration has also improved and her grandmother told us she is ‘more willing to work!’ Well done Olivia, you deserve all those A grades!

Bella is 9 years old and in the Gifted & Talented program at school. However, it turns out that she was battling with distortions on the page when reading, along with physical symptoms such as headaches and vomiting. She came to the Krist Irlen Clinic Houston/Galveston for Irlen glasses. During the session we determined a specific color to be worn as glasses (no Rx is need) that helped her process light correctly. In the video we have a before and after comparison, not just for reading but regarding what she sees in the environment. As she said, “A billion times better”.

At the Krist Irlen Clinic (Houston/Galveston) we always check what has improved, since wearing the Irlen glasses, and whether this has led to any success stories. Alesis was excited to tell us that he has made accelerated progress and can now read above grade level. He can also study for longer now that he isn’t rubbing his eyes and getting headaches under the bright classroom lighting. Overall he told us he feels like he has more energy! What wonderful improvements!
