After months of suffering foggy brain and fatigue, my P*P suggested sleep apnea as the possible problem. Sure enough, the sleep lab report showed 29.9 (30, being severe) breathing interruptions per hour. I tried using the CPAP device for one month with no success. - intolerable. Next I found Dr. Scheicher who was associated with my dentist’s office, perhaps the owner. After a thorough examination in his office, including a CT scan, he fitted me with the dental appliance. Now, a few months later, my post sleep lab study showed 0.3 events per hour. Though amazing, I was not surprised, as I am sleeping well with vivid dreams, more energy, and only the fuzziness of brain that is expected of an 80 year old lady :). Dr. Schleicher is consumed with helping people conquer this problem of oxygenating the brain. I’m eager to read his soon to be published book, The Oxygen Connection.
