❤️ I’m not a perfect or a guru I’m a human just like you

🫣 My trailer from my talk I did in London is out

I’m having a moment here

Like wow

This is me today
This is me now

I’m so proud of myself

For showing up
For putting myself out there

For continuing to lean into growth
Feeling fear and showing up anyway

I’m proud of the commitment to healing I’ve had

I’m so proud of who I keep evolving into

And my 8 year old self is so proud too

The things that could have easily kept me down didn’t

The abuse
The trauma

There are so many experiences I went through that could have been valid reasons for why I couldn’t do things

Instead I used them all as fuel to propel me into yes I can and will and Watch me 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for being on this journey with me
This is the beginning of a new season and chapter

The cards you are dealt do not determine your future

I am living proof of that

Had my first ever singing lesson with Stephanie Bailey yesterday

I was sweating it took so much courage to do this

It took even more courage to share this with yall 🥰😝

I’ve always wanted to take singing lessons
I’ve always wanted to feel free to sing
But fear stopped me

Especially due to ‘friends’ in high school telling me i sounded awful

Which made me never try again 🙈😝

Kids can be so mean lol

Anyway i have homework
Breathing exercises and matching tone exercises

Stay tuned for the progression of this journey

I’m also looking forward to how this supports me speaking on stages and opens my voice which was impacted a lot in childhood due to abuse

It’s a beautiful day when a kid silenced becomes a fully expressed adult on purpose i call that a force to be reckoned with 🔥🔥🔥

Walking on this planet is not the same experience for men as it is for women

Happy Fathers Day to the man who stepped into our lives when I was 8 years old

He showed up after being s3xually abused for 3 years

He showed up and stepped in in the middle of our chaos

And he’s been here ever since

I can’t say it’s been a smooth ride
He’s definitely not perfect
He had his own demons to work through
As we worked through all of ours

But he’s been here
And his family took us in as there’s
So many amazing memories come from him stepping into our lives

I most want to thank you Steve Schulz aka Dad for being a SAFE man in the sense of sexuality

With so much violence against women and children and s3xual abuse and violations coming to the surface everyday within families

It’s becoming more and more apparent that finding a man who doesn’t s3xualize children is like finding a needle in the haystack

So thank you for taking us into your family
Thank you for being safe s3xually
And thank you for being an even better grandpa than dad to our little ones

Sending love to all the dads out there who are SAFE for the women and children they are connected to 🙏🙏🙏

Got the crowd up & dancing at the beginning of my talk

I think all those years of dancing off the top of at came in handy

And of course the song i chose was I’m every woman by Whitney Houston - I knew it would be a hit for the ladies

So fun

My 10 year old self is so proud of this 42 yr old version of me 100%
