You can’t control your sleep, but you can control how you care for yourself after a night of disrupted sleep.

I first want to acknowledge that I don’t do this all every single day but there are days, like this morning where I could feel my overwhelm coming in hot …so I KNEW I needed a pause for myself.

I also want to acknowledge that getting comfortable ASKING FOR HELP and COMMUNICATING with your husband takes practice. Otherwise, it can come out as resentment or bitterness.

I know so much more about how to care for my growing body and growing baby this pregnancy than I did the first time around.

My last postpartum was amazing until month 9 when I started to feel extremely depleted — or maybe that’s when it all finally caught up with me 🤷‍♀️

The stress, the workouts, the unintentional under fueling, the high demands of feeding and caring for another human.

Our body can only give so much before it starts feeling it.

The one thing that turner EVERYTHING around for me (physically and emotionally) was doing a simple hair test.
