Carlos J. Vital, M.D. TAAIS Board Director, Position 3 was recently confirmed unanimously by the Texas Senate to be reappointed as Director to the Board of Directors of the Texas Health Services Authority. Among his duties and responsibilities Dr. Vital will be working on AI in healthcare and protected health information across the state of Texas. Dr. Carlos Vital was also appointed to the Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, where he is working to expand services, education, and research as well as physician support of blood, plasma, and other cellular therapies.
