that “Y” in your loc is NOT normal. 👀

That loc is literally:
⚠️ splitting apart from the inside out.

And if ignored?
❌ holes can form
❌ weak spots develop
❌ the loc gets thinner over time
❌ breakage can happen
❌ the loc may eventually snap off 😩

Potential causes CAN include:
⚠️ improper retightening techniques
⚠️ rough manipulation
⚠️ excessive tension
⚠️ poor interlocking patterns
⚠️ repeated stress on weak areas

🚨 START PAYING ATTENTION:
If you have hundreds of locs but your retightening appointments are lightning quick every single time…
baby… ask questions. 👀
