I highly recommend every taxpayer to create an irs online account.

You recieve your notices electronically, can verify your identity electronically, pulling missed documents and so much more!

Was on a call w the IRS today. An online webinar about Due Diligence... they mentioned Head of Household status various times!!

So when your tax professional puts you as Single please know it is the tax preparers discretion to put what status you qualify for... not yours.
Nobody wants to get fined (starting at $695-2000+) just because you said youre head of house.

We are not auditors and trust we are not on THEIR side but we want to make sure we are in compliance to make sure your tax return and refund (if applicable) goes through without any hiccups.

I do not like to double work, I like things to go smoothly the first time. For me AND you.
