The Role of the Surgical Assistant

Surgical assistants are far more than support in the operating room, they are essential members of the surgical team whose expertise directly contributes to safe, efficient, and successful patient care.

Often serving as the surgeon’s trusted second set of hands and eyes, they provide critical continuity and support across a wide range of procedures.
