Attention Veterans🇺🇸🇺🇸🪖🚢⚓🔱

Today was a great day for a match at the FIFA World Cup in H-Town 🤘🏻

Thanks to Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix and their supporters Bank of America for giving us the opportunity to go and for my one and only Tania Trione for being the most beautiful date in the world 🌎

These tickets were in the 100's section would have cost us $1000's if it wasn't for Vet Tix. If you are a vet dand don't have Vet Tix then you need to get the app and start putting in for event near you.

Having been to Curacao before I was hoping they would make it a little more of a match, but I am good with Germany as well and understand their prominence in soccer and glad for my brother Matt Gwinn as well who was cheering on Germany

It was truly beautiful to see many people come together peacefully to enjoy their lives and cheer on their favorite team 🇩🇪🇨🇼 and some like us. I also got to see one of my favorite shipmates from Active Duty Michelle and her daughter 💪🏻

Thankful to be part of the experience.

I am excited about the start to the Cup🏆by U.S. Soccer.

Who knows we're one of the host countries, so miracles could happen 👀

Either way, we caught the Fifa fever today if only for a little while!

It's easy to lead when everything is going great and everyone is cheering you on

But

That's not where the actual progress is made

Your partners, employees, clients and potential clients are going to look to you when things aren't going as planned and it's your job to figure out what to do!

You can't sit back and wait for someone to come in and save the day because you are that someone and no one else is coming to help

Take a step back, look at what you still have going right and let that be the motivation and drive that pushes you to figure out how to best move forward.

It's often painful and it often takes everything you've got to be a leader that truly influences others in a way to make a big impact on the world, but what is more valuable to do with your time on this beautiful planet?

I encourage you to find the problems in our world that you can help solve and get to work each day solving it my friends!

As someone who fights mental battles every second of every day

I can tell you that it's not about how tough you are or how much you can handle.

It's about how honest and open you can be with what you are actually facing and where you need help and where you can progress

There is no secret, but the closest thing I have found is building solid relationships with people who can offer a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen.

Just because someone is positive and engaged doesn't mean they aren't having to constantly adjust and manage symptoms and challenges.

Don't judge anyone, even yourself. Learn to only love and the world will be a better place for us all.

I pray that each of you has someone to turn to and if you don't reach out and I will do my best to be there for you or point you in the right direction!

Ohh the noise and distractions 😞

They're killing your presence and your progress

It's easy to get lost in the constant barrage of opportunities to stray from your true path

Your ability to come back to yourself and gain focus over your own energy and attention is a superpower

It's worth it

I know all that you are facing and all that you are going to face leads to more

More openness
More truth
More love
More hope
More growth
More connection
More faith
More life

I am in deep deep pain many days and I am learning how to cope and I am learning how to heal and it is a wonderfully challenging and soul opening experience that I will continue to share with you

Trauma, loss, betrayal, pain, suffering and evil and deceptive energy cannot defeat you if you do the work

I have openly shared over and over again what I have been through and what I have worked to try and gain more access and control over in my life

Today I can say that I have developed the knowledge, understanding and ability to heal much of my pain and have successfully processed some REAL S**T

At this point it has only been temporary relief off and on, but I understand that this temporary relief is part of the answer.

You MUST KEEP DOING THE WORK

Feeling Fully Leads To Healing and Vise Versa

Healing leads to Fully Feeling in a deeper level

I could spend hours describing much of this and how I've gotten here, but I believe I am meant to go further into this journey and fine tune these capabilities more before I share fully

This is very fragile, personal and critical work that needs to be done by each and every one of us on some level and I will remain open to helping more people as the path is presented to me

But for now

I want you to know that there is hope and I have experienced the beauty and the freedom that can be had if you are able to process and release some of this burden it's NOT yours to carry

I didn't know how bad off I was until this weight was lifted and I also didn't know how close I was for so long doing the work and going through the processes almost blind to the healing that was occurring

I am not a psychotherapist or a counselor or a trained social worker, but I have firsthand knowledge and processes that have worked for me and I know there is more to this that I must figure out to help others and I will figure this out.

I love you and I love this life no matter how hard it gets sometimes

We are winning the battle and I am living proof.

Keep seeking the understanding and then doing the work that is presented to you today my friends.

I believe in YOU!

I 100% could not do what I do and stay consistently dedicated if I did not

Ever since I was in grade school I seemed to get more out of supporting my teammates and friends in their own successes more than my own

I have a very difficult time being self motivated in regards to my own achievements and accolades, but you put a mission in front of me that lifts us all up and I will fight to the death

This has been to a fault many times in my life, but I wouldn't go back and change anything

It has been challenging lately as many of those around me are having a difficult time in many different arenas and I have no way of helping them adequately

God definitely has a plan and I am doing everything I can to open to and to follow these steps that are being presented in my life

My hope is that you can find a little of this belief in yourself and start to open your heart and your mind to what God is trying to show you

You need to dig deep and figure out what your mission is today and do not wait another minute to chase your own goals and mission

The world is calling all Heroes to don their capes and for you to show up in whatever way you can today.

I am still on this mission with you and I am willing to offer help in the areas I have the experience and tools to do so and I will also call upon you as we progress.

I am thankful that you have decided to stick around and take this journey with me and I am proud of you for putting in the work required to progress.

Keep an open heart, open mind and purposefully engaged hands and feet today my friends.
