A native Houstonian, Mari grew up in the Sugar Land area. Agnes Academy, she continued her education at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. There, she earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing. She spent 6 years at Southwestern Energy as a Reservoir Analyst with a focus in finance before embarking on her new career. Maricella (“Mari”) learned early on that a regimen
of good skin care will have positive, lasting results. Years of continuous research of skin care products and cosmetics led Mari to her career as a makeup artist and skin care consultant. After training as part of a team with a leading cosmetic firm in the Houston area, she created “Makeup by Mari LLC”. Helping women of all ages look naturally beautiful by implementing healthy skin care and using proper makeup techniques is her mission. “Looking better helps anyone feel better about themselves and an easy to follow daily routine, with a few essential skin care products, makes that possible” says Mari, who tests and uses all of her studio’s products.
