Houston's wacky weather strikes again! Due to the extreme conditions, we're bundling up and battening down and will be closed Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4. Float Houston is looking to expand our amazing team and it could be the perfect opportunity for us both. We provide the ultimate in relaxation and zen through floatation therapy, AquaMassage, infrared sauna, BallancerPro and Acoustic Resonance Therapy. It is essential that you are able to multi-task and genuinely enjoy giving guests the ultimate in care. You must enjoy working with people and be able to communicate in a professional and kind manner. Attention to detail is crucial, and we don’t recommend applying unless cleaning is a spiritual experience for you. ;)

Float staff are responsible for, but not limited to: (training provided)

-Scheduling appointments
-Greeting and checking guests in and out
-New guest orientation
-Product and service sales
-Answering phone calls
-Email correspondence
-Cleaning and sanitizing—LOTS of cleaning and sanitizing
-Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs. (that’s a bag of salt!)
-Float tank chemistry and more…

PLEASE NOTE:
*Our operating hours are Tuesday-Sunday 10am-10pm with deep cleaning (closed to the public) on Mondays for a few hours. You MUST be available for nights and weekends, although you won’t always be working them. We try to rotate everyone evenly so that everyone has work/life balance.

Requirements:
-2 years customer service and retail sales experience
-General computer, internet, email experience
-Ability to quickly learn our POS system (FloatHelm)
-Weekend and evening availability
-Detail oriented, quick-thinking and problem-solving skills
-Professional demeanor
-Kindness, kindness, kindness!

Compensation: Hourly wage + free services
