In the beginning of my Cosmetology program I slept on the floor of this mans living room floor RENT FREE, some days I wanted to sleep in because I was uber all night but he wouldn’t let me. I Truly thank God for placing you in my life, you’re apart of my story and testimony which I will never stop sharing. I’m honored to call you friend, brother, co-worker and roommate. Thank you for answering my questions, showing me different techniques, correcting me and praying for me in the midst of my darkest season. 💪🏽💙

“In the midst of your transition, someone will offer you a Job. Be mindful how you carry yourself at all times” - God.
February 2017....

I had no clue where the Job was coming from, what field it was in or where it was located. I just knew The Lord had a place of employment for me.

One afternoon I stopped by the salon where Mickey Martin worked to do his Loc-maintenance; the owner asked me if I was in cosmetology school? If so, she needed a new Shampoo assistant. I honestly thought she was joking until she asked when I could start....

Since then I’ve been apart of Blessings Hair Cafe family. A salon full of licensed stylist that freely share their techniques and expertise! The hair industry is VICIOUS and CUT THROAT.

Thank you Shronda and Blessings Family for taking me in and allowing me to grow in your salon, thank you for being patient with me, answering all of my questions and sharing your techniques; this season of humble beginnings I will always cherish and never forget! 💖💙
