Pink Hijab Day Houston

Pink Hijab Day Houston Wearing pink is not the most important part of this day. When she moved to Houston in 2015 She brought Pink Hijab Day with her. The statement that it can make.

As Muslims sisters (and members of the community that support Breast Cancer Awareness) we need to active in our communities raising finds and awareness; by educating ourselves and others. In 2009 Chrystal Said, the Muslim Southern Belle, began to support breast cancer awareness through Pink Hijab Day. Imagine a day filled with pink hijabis everywhere. The curiosity that it will invoke. It is a day

to encourage women to take part in different community improvement projects. Showing that they are valuable part of the communities we live in; including the effort to find a cure for breast cancer. We are sisters, mothers, and daughters. Pink Hijab Day encourages us to raise funds for cancer research, and to encourage all people to maintain their health by getting regular screenings and to increase knowledge about preventative methods. If we do not take care of ourselves then who will. When the Mom gets sick we all know the whole house falls apart. Just with all other breast cancer events this month wearing pink is not the most important part of this day. As Muslims sisters (and members of the community that support Breast Cancer Awareness) we need to active in our communities raising finds and awareness. Educating ourselves and others, donating to cancer foundations, getting tested and screened, and participating in projects that make your community better. Many in our communities are underinsured or uninsured. They cannot afford to go to the doctor let alone to seek treatment if they have a major illness such as breast cancer. For this reason financial support should be made available to help people get adequate healthcare. It also allows for others to know that we care. By being active in our communities we are giving a positive message and impact on society (health issues, morality issues, etc.). The Muslim Southern Belle pledges to donate all proceeds after expenses to the Al-Salam Free Clinic towards the Women's Clinic. For more information about this service please contact.
