41 new likes in a week? You guys are awesome! Makes me motivated to start another project. Haven't quite decided what I want to do, but I'm thinking of taking another crack at a swirl jem.

So I wake up to find that the BCC page has gotten almost 20 new likes overnight. That may not seem like a lot to some people, but to me it means so much. One day at a time, brick by brick, the Black Cannon family and supporters are growing. Thank you all.

Apologies for the hiatus, but things have been a little crazy for both me and Erik lately. I've been in Florida for the past five months working the pipelines and Erik has had his nose buried in medical textbooks everyday and night.

Just a quick update on the guitars. The Viking V is up for sale and would make an awesome Christmas gift for the Nordic metalhead. Meanwhile, the Graveslinger is fighting me tooth and nail from wanting to be completed. Its two steps forward and one back with this project. After its finally all said and done I'm going to jump back on the Mayan Strat project. That should be fun after I get the technique down.

Doing a regular swirl jem was difficult enough, but this guy makes it look so easy. I can only imagine what applying this amazing technique to a guitar might look like.

This undertaking took around 100 man hours, a lot of new tricks, and a lot of flying by the seat of our pants. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.
