🩺 What Is a Medical Checkup?

A checkup is a routine visit with your doctor to help keep you healthy, even when you're feeling well. During a checkup, your doctor may:

✅ Review your medical history
✅ Check your blood pressure, weight, and vital signs
✅ Discuss your lifestyle, diet, and exercise habits
✅ Recommend screenings or vaccinations based on your age and health needs
✅ Answer any questions about your health

Regular checkups can help detect potential health issues early, prevent disease, and support your overall well-being.

🌟 Taking care of your health today can make a big difference tomorrow. Schedule your routine checkup at our Student Health Center and stay proactive about your wellness!

One last weekend before classes start... make it count 😎☀️
Before the assignments, deadlines, and study sessions kick in, take some time to recharge:

Thinking about trying a GLP-1 medication? Read this first. 👀

GLP-1 medications have become popular for weight loss, but not every product marketed online is FDA-approved.

Before trying a GLP-1 from a social media ad, influencer recommendation, or unfamiliar website, ask yourself:

✅ Was it prescribed by a licensed health care provider?
✅ Does it come from a legitimate pharmacy?
✅ Is it FDA-approved?

Unapproved or counterfeit products may not contain what they claim, putting your health at risk.

Bottom line:
If you're interested in GLP-1 medications, start with a conversation with a licensed health care professional and make sure you're getting information from trusted sources.

💪 Sore or Injured? Know the Difference.

Feeling achy after a workout? That's often a sign your muscles are adapting and getting stronger.

✅ Muscle soreness is usually dull, tight, or achy and shows up a day or two after exercise.
⚠️ Pain is often sharp, sudden, or persistent and may make it difficult to move or continue your workout.

The takeaway? A little soreness can be normal. Pain is your body's way of telling you to pay attention.
Listen to your body, prioritize recovery, and remember that rest days are part of the fitness journey, too.
