There is a shift that happens when you bring live sound directly into the intense heat of a traditional Finnish sauna.

During our upcoming Harvest Moon gathering, Katrina Hunter of Live Being U is leading three dedicated sound rounds inside the sauna house. As you sit in the heat, the therapeutic frequencies of live singing bowls resonate directly through the steam.

Between rounds, you step out to cool down, rest, and reset before entering the heat again.

It is a practice completely shaped by the natural rhythm of heat, cooling, and absolute stillness. No previous sauna or sound bath experience is needed—simply come exactly as you are to unplug.

You do not need to know anything about sound bathing — or even be an experienced sauna-goer — to find out.

During 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮 + 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵, Katrina Hunter of Live Being U will lead three live sound rounds inside our Finnish sauna. Singing bowls and other instruments are played as you sit in the heat, followed by time to cool and rest before returning for the next round.

For those who already love sauna, it offers a completely different way to experience a familiar practice. If sound baths are more familiar territory, this is a chance to experience one shaped by the cycle of heat, cooling and rest.

And if both are new to you, that is perfectly fine too. There is nothing to learn beforehand — simply come and experience them together, on your own or with someone you want to share it with.

The Harvest Moon is the full moon nearest the autumn equinox, traditionally associated with the close of the growing season. This year it falls the day before our gathering — a fitting moment to take stock of what has grown, what has been learned and what is worth carrying forward.
