There is wisdom in the in-between
the space where the old has loosened
and the new has not yet taken shape

The tree does not resist the falling leaf. It knows that release is part of renewal
The river does not need to know its entire journey to keep moving
The forrest reminds us, that transformation can happen in the quietest of moments
Even the earth knows when it is time to release

Today, we take a moment to remember those lost on September 11th and to honor the courage, service, and enduring spirit of community that emerged in its wake. May we carry forward kindness, presence, and care for one another.

As we move through this season of transition, we also pause to honor September 11th. A day of remembrance, grief, and collective memory. May we continue to show up for each other with compassion, care, and integrity.

And perhaps, just for today, our meals can be an opportunity to slow down. Rather than eating on the go, let's take a few breaths and notice the world around us and the nourishment of our food.

We don't have to make a dramatic change when the seasons shift. Sometimes, wellness can begin with something as simple as choosing warmth.

It is with tremendous grief in our hearts that we announce that The Center for Healing Arts & Sciences is closing it's doors on September 30th.

Our hearts are filled with both sorrow and gratitude.
Gratitude for everyone who walked through our doors.
For every individual that called The Center, home.
For every clinician, facilitator, and sweet soul that made The Center for Healing what it is.

The spirit of everything that was created, cultivated, explored, and felt will remain on in our hearts and mind, always.

If you work regularly with a clinician, or have signed up for a workshop or an ongoing group, your clinicians and facilitators will be contacting you directly to let you know the next steps in continuing your care and journey with them.

With tremendous care and gratitude,
The Center for HAS Team πŸ™

A Labor Day Pause 🌿

Today, we honor the work and the wisdom of knowing when to pause.

May this Labor Day offer you a moment to breathe, reconnect, and remember that rest is not something we have to earn.

Work. Rest. Restore. Repeat.

From all of us at The Center for Healing Arts & Sciences, wishing you a gentle Labor Day. 🀍

Reiki is a Japanese energy-based healing practice developed in the early 20th century. The word is commonly translated from Japanese as rei (spirit/universal) and ki (life energy). Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy-based practice that invites relaxation, stillness, and mindful awareness. During a session, a practitioner uses light touch or holds their hands just above the body while the recipient rests comfortably. Reiki can be experienced as a quiet opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and notice what is present in your body and mind. Reiki is often described as a practice of deep relaxation, presence, and energetic balance. People may experience warmth, tingling, a sense of heaviness or lightness, emotional release, or simply quiet and rest.
