As we step into June, we honor the many layers of healing, expression, and connection that make us whole. 🌿

This month holds both Pride Month and Men’s Health Month. Reminders that every person deserves spaces where they can be fully seen, supported, and empowered in their wellbeing journey.

At the center this week, we gather through movement, breath, creativity, sound, and community with offerings like Forrest Yoga, Drum-Guided Meditation, Tracing Within, Body Day, and more. Each practice is an invitation to return to yourself a little more deeply.

Whether you’re seeking grounding, release, reflection, strength, or simply a moment to exhale, there is space for you here. 🤍

At the center, we believe community can be a container for that remembering to soften the masks we've inherited. To create space for emotional integrity, expression, and embodied well-being. A place where the nervous system can exhale. Where creativity becomes reflection. Where movement becomes medicine. Where sound, breath, ritual, and conversation help us reconnect to the deeper currents beneath daily life. Throughout June, our offerings are designed to support this inward journey while reminding us that none of us walk it alone.

This month, we honor both Pride Month and Men’s Health Month and the practices that bring us back to ourselves.

This week’s Food as Medicine Friday recipe, Lychee Rose Overnight Oats, is inspired by the energetics of early summer: cooling, hydrating, grounding, and gently supportive for emotional balance.

Lychee and rose make a beautiful pairing from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, especially as we move into warmer weather and the heart-centered energy of summer. As spring transitions into summer, TCM emphasizes supporting the Heart and protecting fluids from excessive heat and depletion. Ingredients like rose and lychee can help bring softness, moisture, and emotional ease during seasons that tend to feel fast-paced and overstimulating. Oats themselves offer grounding, stabilizing energy making this recipe a beautiful reminder that nourishment can also be a ritual.

A slower morning. A few intentional breaths. A moment of softness before the pace of the day begins.

We hope this recipe offers a small moment of embodied care for both body and mind this weekend!

How do you know if community acupuncture is right for you?
• You are looking for lower cost acupuncture treatment
• You feed off group energy
• You want support for your mind, body, and spirit.

Group healing has a unique benefit in its communal nature. The energy of people joining together in the same room to rest and heal can be quite powerful on a deep cellular level. Our community acupuncture gathering can be supportive for stress, anxiety, low mood, sleep, grief, digestion issues, hormone imbalances, inflammation, and more.

Join us Sunday, May 31st and the last Sunday of each month for community healing and deep rest 🙏

At the heart of everything we offer is relationship.

Spaces where you can show up as you are.
Spaces where you’re not asked to have it all figured out.
Spaces where healing unfolds in its own time.

Hearing reflections like this reminds us why this work matters.

Not because we’re doing something extraordinary
but because people are allowing themselves to be supported, witnessed, and in community.

Thank you for your 5-star review, Mirabai Starr!

Days of collective remembrance can stir emotions we do not always have words for.

Memorial Day touches both personal and ancestral layers of the psyche: grief, sacrifice, belonging, conflict, memory. Even when we are not consciously connected to loss, the nervous system often recognizes the weight carried collectively.

In a culture that moves quickly, remembrance itself becomes a healing practice.

Today, perhaps the invitation is simple:
to slow down enough to feel,
to honor what has been carried,
and to reconnect with what makes us human.
Today we honor those no longer here, and reflect on what it means to carry memory with integrity.
