Full Circle Healing Massage & Bodywork

Full Circle Healing Massage & Bodywork Safe space here. Covid, diversity & inclusion safe that just happens to have a solid deep tissue. Covid safety is a top priority for me. Not 50 minutes.

ABOUT FCH
Since 2015, Full Circle Healing Massage & Bodywork, LLC has been one of the best places in Houston to receive therapeutic massage with an element of relaxation. I tailor each client's experience per their needs using a versatile range from Swedish to Deep Tissue techniques, Massage Cupping & IASTM modalities and Pin & Stretch as needed. Tending to focus mainly on Myofascial Release providing longer term relief, improved performance, recovery and quality of life. I also offer Scar Work, Prenatal, Craniosacral Therapy, Facial Cupping, Theragun and Lymphatic Drainage. Masks are required by both therapist and clients. Lots of focus has gone into the room set up in this regard also with attention to things such as air flow & ventilation. Intake, waiver & prepayment required prior to appointment. I am also triple vaxxed.

60 minutes is 60 minutes. You pay for an hour of bodywork. You will receive an hour of bodywork. (Sessions may be shortened per late arrivals.) I do not try to upsell you at every appointment but I will on occasion gently remind you that receiving consistent bodywork improves quality of life. We keep up with maintenance on our cars and homes but often will neglect our most important asset, our bodies. Gift cards, packages and memberships available. MISSION STATEMENT
To teach people that often physical pains and restrictions are not simply a matter of aging. We do not have to accept that. But that it is a matter of time and what we do with it. That a consistent self-care routine including massage therapy truly can improve quality of life. To teach clients about self-care tools that can be used in between sessions to accentuate the work we do in session as well as to provide access to those tools. To keep people active and doing the things they love. Taking care of family, business and community starts with taking care of self. ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER
Jessica graduated from Health Masters School of Massage Therapy in 1999 and has been licensed since 2000 and practicing full time since October 2012. She views healing and the things that impede it, such as chronic pain, from a more holistic viewpoint. She is interested in the full picture of things that may keep us in pain, such as trauma, emotions, past injuries that can often all be connected and intertwined. She enjoys the progressive healing aspect of receiving regular massage & bodywork as consistent maintenance and the improvement it can have on overall quality of life. Jessica has learned invaluable knowledge of therapy from her own injuries and traumas and the processes to recover from them. She thoroughly believes in practicing what she encourages her clients to do such as regular massage, Reiki, chiropractic adjustments and counseling as well as being sure to incorporate meditation, stretching and healthy movement along with nutrition into her vegan & cruelty free lifestyle. One of Jessica’s greatest strengths is her ability balance the element of relaxation while also making sure the client leaves feeling as if they had some good solid work done. The versatility in her tool box of modalities and natural intuition are her secret weapon. She will sometimes say that she just feels and follows because the body will often tell you more than the mouth will. On a more personal note, she enjoys reading, writing, dancing, especially with a hoola hoop, moderating her local online vegan community on Facebook, probably indulging in a little too much social media, eating all the vegan food, expanding her knowledge, getting lost in music and hanging out with her fur baby Nucky. I also offer vegan coaching and hula hoop fitness classes if you would like to learn. Either in my yard or at Emancipation Park or Elizabeth Baldwin Park. Weather will be a factor. Take care of yourself in the midst of all the evolution we are experiencing. I am posting videos with instructions on how to use them on (novice) You Tube. Channel is called Full Circle Healing Journeys. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBjYnlh6E3-g3zondyVhI3Q?view_as=subscriber

Because it is often where the sources manifest their symptoms. Symptoms such as tension, pain & restricted range of movements. Sources tend to be on the flip side of things.
Upper back, neck & shoulders can often be overstretched by shortness in the front of the body such as the arm & chest muscles.
Low back can often be over exerted by shortness in the thighs, hip flexors and abdominal muscles in the front of the body.
Discomfort during bodywork tends to be increased in the front of the body compared to the back. When muscles are overstretched, deeper more intensive work tends to feel way better. The goal is to loosen them to be less overstretched. Makes the pain of deep work feel less in vain.
When muscles are shortened, they usually don't hurt until we start digging into them because we are working them out of being shortened.

So just something to think about when doing stretching, movement & self care at home on your own. Definitely give attention to where it hurts but also a little attention to the source areas.

And be sure to get in to see me on occasion to work on them areas for you!!

*All airborne cootie precautions still in place.
