There has been so much change this year, and many of you are new followers. It’s been a minute, let me reintroduce myself.

I’m Dr. Erika Sato, a board-certified plastic surgeon, a mom, a business owner, and someone deeply passionate about helping patients feel confident in their own skin.

What started as a vision has now become Embody Plastic Surgery + Spa, a space built around thoughtful care, honest conversations, advanced technology, and creating results that still feel like you. This is where you will find me most days.

One Year Later…

A patient recently sent me these photos via DM after reaching her one-year mark following her mommy makeover. I performed her surgery in Houston before moving to Abilene, and although we haven’t been able to reconnect in person yet, this message truly meant so much to me.

“I haven’t been able to make the trip to come see you, but I just hit my 1 year. I am still amazed at how awesome you did. Thank you so much! I wanted to share my fully healed results.”

Moments like this are such a reminder that the journey doesn’t end after surgery. Seeing patients healed, confident, and still happy with their results a year later is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
