Some places I visit have called to me since childhood. This is one of them. Michelangelo was a sculptor forced to paint the Sistine chapel in a medium, he was unfamiliar with by the Pope with the hopes that he would fail so miserably it would ruin his reputation. He spent four agonizing years painting the ceiling of the Sistine chapel, creating his life’s masterpiece and the most well-known piece of artwork in entire human history. He broke his body in the process.

I tattooed this Valkyrie a couple weeks ago. Forgot to post 🫠 I love doing projects like this that challenge me. It’s pieces like this that enable me to actually see the progress I’ve made in tattooing over the years, but the best part is the happiness my client experiences when seeing the finished product. I don’t know what’s up with social media platforms, but I had a hell of a time uploading a video that looked right in comparison to what was stored in the camera roll, in the camera never captures exactly how the tattoo looks in real life so sorry about the glare. Anyway, thanks for looking.
