Acrylic on Birch Wood panel.

I submitted this portrait of Ghost in to the juried Trekell Pet Portrait Competition before the midnight deadline last night by the skin of my teeth. Start to finish in a week’s time around my normal tattoo schedule. I was hurting and tired but I was so proud to have invested so much time into my work. Tattooing has made me a better painter apparently and painting has made me a better tattooer. I am very happy with the final result even though I can see parts where I could improve but that’s what I call growth.
