This is West Pasco Quild Guild show weekend. I have 5 quilts in the show: See each quilt picture for placing. I only had three being judged and they each placed.

So I went and bought myself a new sewing machine. Yes I already have a few, but I really needed one that would sew though lots of layers of fabric and batting. As you all know these computer sewing machines are made for light weight fabrics. Oh yes this one will be good for making bags too, I need more hobbies. Anyway instead of buying a big industrial machine I bought a Juki TL-18QVP. Runs like a dream though 2 layers of fabric and 2 layers of batting. It does need to be oiled before every use, easy to remember that step.

The finished Butterfly Quilt!! I must say it was a challenge, it has lots of texture because I used 2 layers of 80/20 batting. I did machine binding on this quilt because it is so big and I just wanted to get it done.

I put my sweet baby Maggie on my Long-Arm table. She went to the spa on Saturday. She says Mom we need some business you have to much time on your hands.

I have been working on the Tula Pink Butterfly Quilt. It has been couple of months now. I am now assembling the quilt top, hope to have it done by the weekend.
