Sigrid is back for an open level dance workshop for every body :))) 🎵 🌀🕳️

Dance as poetry, power, and prayer

Our session begins with an aerobic warm-up before moving into four choreographic phrases that weave together synchronized movement and improvisation for cathartic release.

Movement and emotion exist in a continuous loop: each gesture evokes feeling, and each feeling shapes the next movement.

Class culminates in assembling our phrases into a sequence drawn from Sigrid’s choreographic repertoire: a structure for movers to embody, express and excavate.

Open to all levels of movement experience, ages 18 and up.

Herbs provided from the GOODWITCH apothecary, to support our practice.

GW Studio is a 4 minute walk from the Hudson Amtrak station. No car needed for day-trippers. Lots of walkable spots for food nearby. Buy train tickets early to avoid surge pricing!

All proceeds go directly to our friends organizing in the W3st B4nk ( ) who, for the last 6 months have been doing vital food sovereignty work: buying produce from local farmers who employ displaced people, and donating the crops directly to displaced families.

Now that winter is here, priorities are shifting to heaters blankets, and warm clothing for children and families living in tents.
