Happy Summer Solstice and International Day of Yoga ☀️

Today feels like the perfect moment to celebrate light, presence, movement, and the practice of coming home to ourselves.

Here at Synergy, yoga is such an important part of who we are. We are deeply passionate about creating spaces where people can move, breathe, learn, heal, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive community.

We’re especially grateful for our Yoga Teacher Training leaders, April and Ritu, who bring so much wisdom, heart, and guidance to this work.

Our 2026–2027 Yoga Teacher Training is close to full. If you’ve been feeling called to deepen your practice, explore teaching, or learn more about the path of yoga, we invite you to join us for our info session in late July, more details can be found on our website.

Meet Michael LaPointe, LMHC 💙

Michael brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy and believes that healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. With experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families, he helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life’s many challenges with empathy and understanding.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, Michael works collaboratively with clients to better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building practical tools for growth and resilience.

A few fun facts about Michael:
🐱 His cat’s name is Peanut
🎲 He’s a big tabletop gamer
🧠 His favorite mental wellness tip: “If something is bothering you, find a way to distance yourself from it,” whether that means taking a walk, getting a glass of water, or spending time with a pet.

Michael was drawn to Synergy because of our commitment to treating the whole person—not just a symptom or diagnosis—and his goal is to help every client feel welcome, valued, and empowered on their unique journey.

Hudson Fest 2026 was a beauty! Blue skies, hot sun, community love, chair massages and lots of lemonade to stay cool! Thank you to everyone who came out and to all of our staff who helped greet visitors at the booth. A fun day had by all! ☀️🍋☀️🍋
