🎉🌻 CAN Y’ALL HELP ME WISH MY MOM, Ria, A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY?! 🌻🎉

This new chapter in the book called life has been pretty darn special. The last couple of years of doing this crazy flower farm thing together have truly been such a gift. ❤️

I thank the good Lord above all the time for placing me in the family He did and blessing me with both of my parents. And somehow, this little flower farm has given me something even more precious—something that the three of us get to build, work on, laugh about, stress over 😂, dream about, and enjoy together.

Those are memories I know I’ll treasure forever.

So today, we’re celebrating the woman who is not only my mom, but my flower-farming partner, adventure buddy, voice of reason (sometimes 🤣), and such a huge part of what makes LoRiLy Bliss so special.

🌻 Happy Birthday, Mom! 🌻

Here’s to many, many, MANY more birthdays, adventures, laughs, and blooming seasons together. 💛

This new chapter in the book called life has been pretty darn special. The last couple of years of doing this crazy flower farm thing together have truly been such a gift. 🖤

📸🌻 ISO PHOTOGRAPHERS FOR OUR QUILTS & BLOOMS FESTIVAL! 🌻📸

Book your own sessions. Bring your own clients. Use our farm as your backdrop.

Photographers — we’re opening up LoRiLy Bliss Flower Farm during our Quilts & Blooms Festival, August 22 & 23, for you to book photography sessions with YOUR clientele!

And this is definitely not your normal photography backdrop.

🧵🌸 Now, we know this one is a little hard to picture…

We’ve included a few mock-up photos to help you visualize what we’re creating — but the real thing is going to be on a MUCH larger scale.

Think large, beautiful quilts hanging throughout the farm, surrounded by rows of blooming flowers, sunflowers, rustic farm scenery and that gorgeous late-summer Colorado backdrop.

These aren’t going to be little quilts tucked here and there for decoration. 😂

We’re talking larger-than-life works of fabric art hanging throughout the flower farm.

Imagine photographing a senior standing among the flowers with a gorgeous quilt behind her. A family session surrounded by blooms and patchwork. A little girl twirling beside a quilt made by someone’s grandmother. Couples. Maternity. Generational photos. Editorial sessions.

📸 This backdrop exists for TWO DAYS. That’s it.

Because we’re putting this opportunity out there a little over a week before the festival, I’m willing to work with photographers on our professional photography fee. I know it’s short notice!

All we ask is that you pay a discounted photographer fee and each of your clients purchases admission to the festival.

🎟️ Clients registered BEFORE festival weekend receive discounted pre-registration admission:

Adults — $10
Seniors 65+ — $6
Youth ages 12–17 — $5
Kiddos under 12 — FREE

You book your sessions. You set your photography pricing. You bring your clients. We provide one heck of a backdrop. 🌻🧵📸

Want to stack several mini sessions throughout the day? DO IT. Want to bring one client because you have a wild creative idea you want to try? WE WANT THAT TOO.

🌸 FLOWER TIP FROM THE FARM! 🌸

One of the easiest ways to help your fresh-cut flowers last longer? Get those leaves out of the water!

After I picked this big ol’ basket of flowers from our field, I spent some time cleaning every stem before I started building bouquets.

Any leaves that would sit below the water line get stripped off. 🌿 Why? Because those leaves start breaking down in the water, encouraging bacteria, making your water gross, and shortening the life of those beautiful blooms.

It takes a little extra time, but your flowers will thank you. 💐

And the best part about this video?

Every single flower you see was grown right here at LoRiLy Bliss Flower Farm. 🥹🌻

These are the kinds of flowers waiting for YOU when you come out to pick your own bouquet.

You pick them.
You choose your favorites.
You build something completely your own.

And when you get them home… strip those leaves! 😂🌿
