Each summer and winter season I slip into a pause and enter a time of rest, dreaming, connection, and some container of personal transformation. A part of my ethics as a practitioner is that I walk my talk, and that my liberation is tied to the women I serve. This Summer Pause will in part be spent alongside the women participating in Wild Dare at Omega Institute For Holistic Studies moving through 5 days of in-depth, mythic, bodysoul initiation. I can’t wait to arrive this evening and open the field for us tomorrow morning. A season change is afoot on a soul level and I surrender to the forces that wish to reshape me.

This autumn, you can join me:
🌹Online for a 2-part class on ✨Listening for Soul in Symptoms of Menstrual-Sexual Experience: A Depth Psychological Approach to Practicing Bodysoul Awareness🩸
🌹In person Kripalu for ✨Unlocking Eros✨to connect to your current aliveness through an immersive process through the 4-D Wheel and embodied Jungian Alchemy.
🌹There are several ways to work 1:1 with me. If you’re curious, take a wander through my website and explore: Embodied Soulwork sessions, Bodysoul Alignment focus intensives, and my mentorship program Seasonal Alchemy.

I named this workshop Wild Dare because I have seen how much courage it takes for a woman to let her own heart change her.

To let grief show her what has truly ended.

To let anger reveal which part of her has been waiting to be heard.

To let desire become more than a private ache she manages around the life she already has.

To let love grow beyond the forms in which she first learned to give and receive it.

The heart is wild in this way. It refuses the neat forward motion we have been taught to call progress. It moves like water—circling, flooding, receding, returning. Carrying us back to places we believed we had already worked through because we are meeting them now as another woman, at another turn of the spiral.

Each return asks for a deeper encounter with what still lives there. A desire. Another truth. Another piece of ourselves waiting to be brought back into the life we are making.

Wild Dare creates a place for that encounter.

For five days at Omega Institute For Holistic Studies, we will enter the myth of Inanna’s descent and work within the great round of ending, surrender, transformation, and return. Through depth psychology, ritual, the 4-D Wheel, movement, and creative practice, we will give form to what your heart is carrying—and discover what becomes possible when it is allowed to move.

What if you put it down? The one who holds everything together.

The one who always knows.

The one who keeps the peace.

The one who stays desirable.

The one who never needs too much.

The one who cannot stop proving.

Depth psychology suggests that every adaptation carries both a gift and a cost.

Jung observed that when one attitude of the personality becomes too one-sided, psychic tension emerges. Not because the adaptation is wrong, but because no single way of being can carry the whole of a life.

The question isn’t whether your adaptation has served you.

It almost certainly has.

The question is whether it has become so authoritative that everything else in you must wait its turn.

The descent of Inanna begins with a relinquishment.

Because something more has been waiting beneath the identity that brought us this far.

Liberate the aliveness waiting to surface from the depths of your being.

Power has seasons. Sometimes it is the force to choose, build, speak, create, and bring a life into form. Sometimes it is the capacity to remain present when that form begins to loosen—and to follow what is changing without abandoning ourselves.

This is part of what the myth of Inanna and Ereshkigal restores.

Inanna’s descent is neither a fall from power nor a permanent turn away from the world above. It is one movement within a larger cycle. She descends, meets the realm of her sister, is changed by what happens there, and returns.

The passage between their worlds matters. Wholeness depends upon that circulation.

This week’s Full Moon arrived as we approach the cross-quarter threshold between summer and fall. The landscape is still lush, while the first harvest has already begun. What has been growing reaches fullness. What reaches fullness begins to change form.

This is a rich moment to ask:

🔥What has your courage already brought into being?

🔥What now requires a different kind of courage?

🔥What might you have to relinquish in order to follow it?

WILD DARE is a six-day immersion into the myth of Inanna and Ereshkigal through depth psychology, the 4-D Wheel, movement, mask-making, ritual, guided journeying, creative practice, and ceremony.

August 30–September 4 at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York.

The outlawed feminine does not disappear. She finds another way to speak.

She may arrive as resentment that has outlived its explanation. A creative life gone quiet. Desire displaced into fantasy. Anger turned against the body. The exhaustion of maintaining relationships, roles, and identities that require her continued self-abandonment.

What the conscious personality refuses, the unconscious carries 🌀

This is why reclaiming these energies asks for more than permission to be angry, sexual, disagreeable, ruthless, or ambitious. Reclamation brings us into conscious relationship with their intelligence—so anger can discern, desire can direct, ruthlessness can complete, and authority can become embodied choice.

Inanna descends to the realm where these powers have been living without her. She meets Ereshkigal, her sister and Queen of the Underworld, on her own ground and returns altered by the encounter.

This myth forms the initiatory spine of Wild Dare: six days of depth-psychological, embodied, creative, and ritual work devoted to reclaiming the courage and creative power held in the dark. And yes, Lisa Marchiano, LCSW 📖 Vital Spark is on the reading list😉

I wrote this because I want more for us than becoming increasingly skillful at managing ourselves.

I want the freedom that allows a woman to follow an image she cannot explain. To risk being surprised by her own desire. To let a dream reorganize what she thought she knew. To create from the life moving through her before she can guarantee where it will lead.

This is the freedom I care about. This is the work I practice.

My article for Omega Institute gives language to the depth psychology beneath it.

There are moments when we can feel the next shape of our lives before we know how to inhabit it.

The desire is present. The insight is present. Even the vision may be clear. What is still forming is the embodied courage to cross from the life we know into the life asking to be lived.

Wild Dare is a six-day immersive workshop devoted to that crossing.

Together, we will work with the 4-D Wheel, the myth of Inanna’s descent, embodied inquiry, movement, mask-making, ritual, hypno-shamanic journeying, and the rare power of a psychologically rigorous women’s container.

This is depth work with backbone, structure, creative fire, and sacred play.

Wild Dare takes place August 30–September 4, 2026, at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York.

There comes a point when the inner work asks to become a life.

Wild Dare is a six-day immersive workshop for women standing at that threshold—women who can feel what wants to emerge, yet keep meeting an invisible edge when they try to embody it.

Through depth psychology, the 4-D Wheel, the myth of Inanna, movement, mask work, ritual, embodied inquiry, and ceremony, we create a structure for embodied initiation into the wholeness that is calling you forth now.
