Let’s talk about the new fad of using GLP-1 medications for weight loss. Who knows about the bad and ugly use of these medications?
I’m sure you’ve heard about them, some go by the names Wegovy or Ozempic, “semiglutides.” They are touted as being miracle weight loss drugs. But, at what cost? Who doesn’t want to sit around, eat what they want, do what they want, not exercise and still lose weight? 🙋🏻♀️
That’s not real, that’s definitely not sustainable and it really isn’t helping you. You didn’t put that weight on overnight and it won’t come off that quickly either. Well, not safely anyway.
So, what are some of the negative issues regarding these drugs?
* black box warning for thyroid cancer
* thyroid tumors
* hypoglycemia
* bowel obstruction
* injection site infection
* you have to be on it for the rest of your life
* $400 a shot if insurance isn’t paying for it
* most people need weekly shots
* you gain the weight back and then some when you go off it
* supply issues, diabetics can’t get their lifesaving medication
* supply issues, you can’t always maintain consistency for weight loss
* pancreatitis
* suicidal ideation
* diarrhea
* hair loss
* acute kidney injury
* angioedema
* anaphylaxis
* fainting
* racing heart
* gall stones
AND MORE!!!!
Still want to use it? Keep reading some of the studies.
