Once Upon a Time, I Was… ❤️
Before they were our residents, they were someone’s coworker, teacher, caregiver, best friend, boss, neighbor, and helping hand. They worked, raised families, chased dreams, made mistakes, gave advice, and lived lives full of stories worth telling.
Growing older may change where you live or what you’re able to do, but it should never take away who you are.
So sit with them. Ask questions. Listen to their stories. Ask for their advice. Let them teach you something. Let them make a new friend.
Because they didn’t stop being somebody when they became elderly.
They were somebody then.
They are somebody now.
And their story is still being written.
