October Clinic Days 🍂
Over the past several months, I've had the opportunity to complete some advanced training that has really expanded my awareness and given me different ways to approach the things I see every day.
And I know some of you deal with these things every day too.
Headaches that keep coming back.
Sinus pressure and congestion.
That nagging low-back or hip pain.
A knee that catches or just doesn't feel quite right.
Feet that hurt at the end of the day.
So for a few select weekends in October, I'm opening 30- and 45-minute Focused Clinic Sessions at special Clinic Day pricing.
These aren't shortened full-body massages. We'll focus on the specific area that's bothering you and, when appropriate, follow the related muscular and fascial patterns that may be contributing to what you're feeling.
It's an opportunity for me to put some of my newer training to work — and hopefully give you some relief without needing to schedule a full-length session.
October Clinic Days
Oct. 3 & 4 • Oct. 17 & 18 • Oct. 24
30 minutes — $50
45 minutes — $70
If you haven't been in for a while, or you just need a little help in between your regular appointments, this is a great opportunity to get back on the table.
Booking is through the link only. I'm trialing a new booking system during Clinic Days, so please use the link rather than calling or texting to schedule.
Choose your time, complete the intake and prepay to reserve your appointment.
Clinic appointments will be scheduled back-to-back, so please arrive on time. Sessions will begin and end at their scheduled times.

I've been quiet on here but I'm still rolling
I'm still doing the reset partially.
In the past 3 weeks I've been adding in beef dishes and pork.

I've tried a few different foods over this time like fried foods from Sonic. - My body let me know quickly it isn't the best.

I decided after a couple of weeks learning about sourdough starters and how much $$ some people want for them, and seeing comments on reddit and so on that I would just wait and think about it, but then I ran across an Alaskan homesteader who said we could make our own in a week using a high protein flour.
I watched the video and did it. today is my day 7 so I will only show you today's photos because I didn't think to take photos throughout the week.
today I used the discard and made chocolate chip cookies and swedish crepes.

Last night I attended the Wild Sage Ranch Galentines event and tolerated the meal really well and even had dessert - cheesecake. I ate the bread too.
Today I'm down another lb. I'm holding steady in the 159-160

I decided to try some cashews. I love cashews.
My body hates cashews and I got bloated up pretty bad for a day, but I'm thinking it's what oils they are cooked in so I need to rethink that.

Week 12.
Looking back to this past October…
this past summer…
this past year…
I honestly can’t believe I did this.
I was at a place that’s hard to talk about — not just physically, but emotionally. I had never dieted in my life. I didn’t even really understand what “self-control” meant around food because I had never needed to.
And then one day I realized something that changed everything:
I had become an emotional eater.
Not because I was hungry — but because I was reaching for comfort.
Salty snacks. Trail mix. Candy. Cookies.
Sugar cravings on full volume.
Eating things just because they were there.
Shopping for clothes stopped being fun.
Nothing hid the growing menopause belly.
I was constantly trying to figure out how to dress my body so I could still feel decent.
Two years ago I was told to buy a black dress for an awards event. I used to shop at White House Black Market — I had been a size 5/6 my entire adult life. I walked in and everything was spandex, form-fitting… and suddenly I was a 14 or 16 depending on the cut. There were barely any options for me.
That was a moment.
Not just about clothes — but about identity.
And yes, the way we feel inside does show up in how the world meets us.
Week 1 to Week 12 has been a gift.
Not painful. Not punishing.
But a relearning.
I feel good in my body again.
I trust myself again.
And the greatest joy has been helping others on this same path — hearing their wins, seeing their changes, watching them feel hopeful again.
That lights me up more than I can put into words.
This wasn’t just weight loss.
It was coming back to myself.

My employer has a program where they gifted a scale and there was an app but I never really went into the app. no t until this past weekend to see if it actually tracked anything. So, I took a screenshot to show basically what it tracked. I can go back the year. I never participated with the health coach. Was never interested in that because remember, my mind was stuck that there wasn't going to be a remote possibility for them to do anything for me.

Sharing a post from
From Dr Jodi's page about American bread:
Before I paste a dear client shared with me a brand of flour her mom and grandma all swear by which makes the best bread. I eagerly looked for it and found it at Dillons however much to my dismay it has that BAD stuff in it. Bromide. so I found an unbleached unbrominated flour and will be attempting to make bread from scratch hopefully this weekend.
Carry on.
This one ingredient in American bread is banned in other countries…
and that alone is reason enough not to eat bread in the U.S.

Most people think bread is unhealthy because of carbs or gluten.

That’s not the real issue.

The real issue is what’s added to bread in America.

In the U.S., many commercial breads are made with potassium bromate or bromated flour - a bromine-based chemical added to dough to make bread rise higher, look whiter, and feel softer.

It’s not there for your health.
It’s there for profit and shelf appeal.

Here’s the part most people don’t know…

When potassium bromate enters the body, it behaves like bromide - a toxic halogen that directly blocks iodine uptake.

Iodine is essential for:
• thyroid function
• metabolism
• hormone balance
• breast and ovarian health
• brain function

So bread doesn’t just “add calories.”
It actively disrupts your thyroid and hormones.

This is why potassium bromate is banned or heavily restricted in many countries, including:
• the European Union
• the UK
• Canada
• Japan
• China
• Brazil

It’s classified as a possible carcinogen and a metabolic disruptor.

Yet in the U.S., it’s still allowed in many mass-produced breads.👈

That’s why so many people say:
“I eat clean but my thyroid is off.”
“I can’t lose weight no matter what.”
“My hormones feel wrecked.”
“I’m exhausted all the time.”

Bread is often part of the problem - not because it’s food…
but because it’s chemical exposure disguised as food.

This is also why so many Americans remain iodine-deficient even when they supplement. You can’t out-supplement constant bromide exposure.

And this is why removing bread often leads to:
• better energy
• easier weight loss
• clearer thinking
• improved hormone balance

Not because bread is “evil”…
but because American bread is fundamentally different.

If an ingredient is banned in dozens of countries for health reasons…
maybe it shouldn’t be a daily staple here.🚨

Did you know this about bread in the U.S.?
