Our Bloom Consulting and Bloom Community Services family came together today for a very special baby shower at the office as Trinity and her husband, Anthony, prepare to welcome their little one!

Our MissionLIFE participants and staff loved being part of the celebration. Occasions like this offer meaningful opportunities to learn about baby shower etiquette, practice social skills, connect with others, and—most importantly—simply share in the joy of celebrating people we care about.

🌟 Life Happens in the Community

Bloom Consulting’s Mission LIFE program provides community-based, hands-on daytime support for adults with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Lake Houston area.

Participants spend their days actively engaging in their community through experiences tailored to their abilities, interests, goals, and support needs. Activities may include:

✅ Community outings and recreation
✅ Volunteer and service opportunities
✅ Hands-on life-skills development
✅ Social and communication experiences
✅ Health and wellness activities

Our person-centered approach supports choice, meaningful relationships, greater independence, and a genuine sense of belonging. Individualized assistance—including mobility and communication support—is incorporated so each participant can engage fully and meaningfully.

Yesterday’s theme was Align & Reflect, and it was a day full of meaningful conversations, honest reflection, and plenty of fun!

We began by discussing the importance of hospitality and creating Bloom’s new official Hospitality Standard—we can’t wait to share it with you all! Then, we dove into a SWOT analysis for each of our programs and states, exploring where we are, what we’ve learned, and where we want to go next.

We ended the day by throwing axes at Axe-Mania and enjoying dinner together at Pappasito’s!

Today, we’re ready to Reconnect & Reimagine—and we’re excited to see what new ideas take shape! 💙🧡
