MNCHA is the only trade association for the home care sector in Maryland and D.C., representing both non-profit and for-profit home care providers including:
-Medicare-certified home health agencies,
-Private duty agencies and registries,
-Home medical equipment businesses, and related businesses that provide services to providers listed above, and
-Individuals with a vested interest in the homecare community.

We’re proud to recognize Angelique Wallace as the recipient of the 2026 MNCHA Caregiver of the Year Award 🏆

Angelique Wallace has dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and commitment. A proud mother of two college-educated adult children and grandmother of two, Angelique began her career after a brief time in the military. She earned her CNA and GNA certifications and spent five years working in a nursing home, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges of overcrowded and understaffed facilities. That experience strengthened her resolve to provide more personal, one-on-one care.

Since 1992, Angelique has served as a home health aide, offering not just medical support but genuine companionship and understanding to her clients and their families. For more than three decades, she has built lasting bonds, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who look forward to her visits and the kindness she brings into their homes.

Congratulations, Angelique, on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your impact on the homecare community!

We’re proud to recognize Suzy Corriere, PT as the recipient of the 2026 MNCHA Therapist of the Year Award 🏆

Suzy Corriere has been a Physical Therapist for twenty eight years working the last twelve years at Johns Hopkins Care at Home in a role as a senior clinical specialist. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Washington University in St Louis. In her role as a Senior Clinical Specialist, Suzy is involved in new staff precepting and development, direct patient care with the homebound geriatric population and serves as the Homecare group Champion for the Healthy at Hopkins program developing and advocating for programs to enhance staff resiliency and wellness and participates in the Sparkle Program to enhance patient engagement. Prior to working at Johns Hopkins Care at Home, Suzy worked as an acute care and outpatient PT at St Agnes Hospital in Catonsville Maryland for fifteen years and simultaneously held an adjunct faculty position at the University of Maryland Program in Physical Therapy assisting with student labs and testing of clinical skills.
She is a mother of four children and has been married for twenty-eight years and is an avid baseball mom. She is active in her church working in the college ministry program and enjoys running and has completed over ten marathons, a half ironman and numerous triathlons. She enjoys sharing this passion for endurance sports with her patients who are running their own marathons to regain independence and the ability to leave their own homes.
