How is this real life? 🪄✨

Today, a mother to whom I’ve now taught all three levels of Reiki reached out. She shared Reiki’s impact on her daughters; one is now in high school, and the other is in college. When I first met all three of them, it was 2021. Her daughters were experiencing a multitude of ailments that didn’t make sense, but her oldest was the one who agreed to see me first.

I didn’t seem ‘witchy,’ and her daughter’s intuition told her she could trust me. She was suffering from insomnia, depression, and anxiety, and so much more. I remember the first time meeting them both and feeling the mother’s desperation for some answer about what was going on with her daughter.

As a mother now, I deeply reflected on this memory today. All we want to do as mothers and parents is help support our children. The helplessness we can feel can be overwhelming at times when we are searching for answers and come up empty-handed.

Ironically, today, I also began writing this chapter in my book, “Reiki and Children.” I was reminded that nothing in this life is coincidental. The icing on the cake was when , who is co-leading the upcoming training with me, mentioned the mother of a new baby was interested in attending our Reiki training. I can’t make this stuff up, and I am beyond grateful every day for the life I live and the people I meet, let alone share Reiki with. What a gift. 🙌🏼

My meditation looks a little different these days….

Simple put, meditation is about being present in whatever it is you’re doing. You can do a walking meditation, cleaning can be meditative, and today for me, food prepping for my Son was my form of meditation.

The good news is you don’t have to be a monk and sit in a lotus position to meditate- everyone can do it!

Are you new to meditation and not sure where or how to start? Keep it simple. Choose what you’re going to be present doing, whether it’s walking, sitting still, food prepping, whatever. While you’re doing said task, focus on each inhale and exhalation and concentrate on what task you’ve chosen to perform. If during your task you feel your mind wonder away to things other than what you’re currently doing, process the thought and gently bring your attention back to the task you’ve chosen.

With Scorpio being a sign of death and rebirth, I’m personally taking today to release and refocus my energy, giving gratitude for the old lessons learned and new ones on the horizon, and nestling in the power of transformation this moon supports.

Last nights Reiki client, my Son….

was under the weather yesterday with a fever of 101. After a day filled of cuddles, naps and lots of skin to skin, it was time for bed.

During his intentional shower, I talked to him and his body, telling him it was ok and his body was doing what it is designed to do. I visualized the water cleansing every cell of his body and only focused on him feeling healthy and happy. (If I’m doom and gloom that he’s under the weather, he will match my energy of this, so I focus on the positives.)

After his shower and getting cozy in fresh jammies, I laid him in my lap and began giving him Reiki. Pictured here, he was grabbing my hand I had hovered over him and pulling it closer to him. The Reiki relaxed him and he fell right to sleep once I placed him in his crib.

He slept from 7pm-3am , when he woke up to eat, and 3:30am-6:45am. I took his temperature this morning, it was 98.9!

Reiki ignites the body’s innate ability to heal by stirring up the toxins in the body and assists the body in flushing the toxins. This process restores balance, therefore supporting the body to heal itself.

I am always grateful to have Reiki in my pocket to support me, but especially to support my Son. What a gift. 🙌🏼

These Reiki trainings are always hard to put into words. Every unique soul that attends brings their spark that ignites my burning desire to teach Reiki to anyone willing to learn. You really have to experience the training yourself to understand the magic that happens.

Thank you to these ladies who chose me as their Teacher for Reiki I and Master. I am honored and humbled. 🫶🏼

Need help calming a fussy baby? Try Reiki!

DYK when a newborn cries it sends your body into fight or flight mode? There is nothing you want more than to soothe your baby as quickly as possible when they begin crying.

As a new mom, I’m learning about the growth spurts my son is experiencing as he develops. In his current growth spurt, everything he has already perceived becomes more intense and he now produces tears, (who knew it took weeks before this happened?!) which hurts my heart to see! Yesterday, he was awake for hours and was fussy, all signs of this current leap. Normally a car ride would soothe him, but he was still unsettled. I played soothing music and began giving him Reiki. Within minutes, he calmed down, fell asleep and stayed asleep for HOURS. Not only did I give him Reiki during this time, but I placed my other hand on my heart/ Vagus Nerve. Why? Because energy is contagious and if my body is in fight or flight mode, he feels this too and his energy will match mine.

After this, we had a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Swipe ➡️ to see him calm and content, and to admire his cuteness of course! ☺️

I found out I was pregnant on Friday the 13th in January. For the entire week, my intuition kept waking me up in the middle of the night telling me I was pregnant and to take a test, but I kept ignoring it. I finally listened, took one, and it was positive. 🩵

This experience was yet another reminder to listen to my inner voice. Our intuition is a gift we all have and is our best guidance to navigate through life, we just have to listen. 🫶🏼

My Son communicated with me while in the womb. Even with my intuitiveness, I still questioned if what I was hearing was legit. 10 days later, the message he gave me came true. 🙌🏼

In this month’s newsletter I shared about an energetic and spiritual experience I had with my Son before he was conceived. This story, along with many more, will be shared in the book I’m writing. 📕

I do not have a set completion time, but this book will fill the void that I was seeking during pregnancy and now motherhood. I can’t wait to share this with you! 🫶🏼
