After three long, busy days, it’s a special tradition of every Blanca’s House mission to come together for our final meeting. ❤️
This is the moment when we pause from the surgeries, the patients, and the constant activity to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together. We think about the families we’ve met, the lives we’ve touched, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the incredible team that made it all possible.
There are always plenty of emotions in that room—pride, gratitude, exhaustion, and, of course, a few tears. Each mission leaves a lasting impression on all of us, and this final gathering reminds us why we continue to come back: to make a difference, one patient and one family at a time.
Until our next mission… thank you to everyone who made these three days so meaningful. 💙

After spending three days working as hard as we do, it’s always nice to have a little time to see and enjoy the city where we’ve been working. ❤️
Guayaquil is a beautiful place, and we were able to experience a little bit of it during our mission. From walking along the Malecón, the beautiful boardwalk along the river, to doing a little iguana spotting and picture-taking, we had fun soaking in some of the local sights.
We also had a chance to browse the mercado, taking in the colors, people, and local treasures—and, of course, looking for a few things we could bring home to share a little piece of Guayaquil with our friends and family.
It was a wonderful way to step away from the intensity of the mission for a little while and appreciate the city that welcomes us so warmly. 🇪🇨❤️

The last day of a mission is always the hardest.

Not only do we perform our final surgeries, but then comes the part we never look forward to — saying goodbye. Goodbye to the wonderful families we’ve met, the incredible people who work alongside us in Blancas House Ecuador, and to a city that has become such an important part of our Blanca’s House journey.

A few moments from our first day in Ecuador at the clinic. ❤️ From the early morning start to happy faces after surgery, it was a full and rewarding day of caring for our patients.
We’re grateful to be back doing what we love—helping the people of Ecuador. And now, we’re looking forward to another day tomorrow! 🇪🇨
